Topjoy is a new company that has developed a writing tablet with a 6 and 7.8-inch screen and raised capital to produce the devices via various crowdfunding platforms. They raised $660k on Kickstarter and another $713k on Indiegogo. Topjoy missed numerous shipping dates and hundreds of comments were proclaiming them as a scam, the company remained quiet about the whole situation, that certainly did not help to build confidence. However, Topjoy has started to ship out both models to customers and tracking numbers have been dispatched. It looks like Kickstarter customers were the first ones to receive email notifications about tracking numbers and it remains to be seen when Indiegogo backers will receive their units.
