Amazon Debuts New Tablets with 20% Discount Sale

For those who have been considering the purchase of a Fire Tablet, now may be the time. Amazon issued a press release in mid-May announcing a flurry of news about the extremely popular Fire tablet lineup. As you may know, these gadgets come in various configurations and sizes, and they combine the convenience of a portable e-reader with other features. There are Fire tablets especially designed for children, for instance, as well as Fire devices that allow you to not just read but also shop online, play games, send and receive email, and even watch videos.

A 20% Discount

On Amazon’s website it announced that if you buy any three all-new Fire tablets, you can use the promo code FIRE3PACK to receive a big 20% discount on your purchase. There are no details yet on how long the sale prices will last, but Amazon does say that the brand-new Fire models will be ready to ship on June 7th. So that definitely gives you some time to snag one of the first ones off the production line, at a great discount price.

New HD 8 Upgrade

The new next generation Fire HD 8 boasts 12 hours of batterly life, a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 gig of RAM, and Dolby audio. It comes with 16 gigs of memory, and the Alexa voice-activated Amazon virtual assistance feature. You can also upgrade to as high as 256 gigs of extra storage, because it has a special slot for adding memory if you decide to buy more. You can read all your favorite e-books, run apps, play games, and do Netflix, Facebook, and more…even watching TV. There are also FreeTime parental controls for parents who want to share their device with their kids.

Discounted Current Fire HD 8

If you don’t want to wait for the newest models to be released in June, you can buy a brand-new Fire HD 8 in its current model, for a $10 discount. Apparently Amazon is taking a page from the auto dealership playbook, and letting its current inventory go out the door at a cheaper price to make room for the latest and newest models that will soon be delivered.

The HD 7 is the best-selling Fire tablet, and this new version weighs less and has a significantly improved battery life and enhanced display. Plus it is even more durable that the newest iPads on the market.
