Susie: “We must be careful. The Ministry's agents still patrol the emotional periphery. I saw a pun neutralizer disguised as a census taker.”
Finn: “Let them come. We'll greet them with riddles and roast them with satire. The castle's acoustics are tuned to resistance now. Every chamber echoes with the memory of mischief.”
Susie: “Then let us proceed. Tonight, we host the Feast of Forgotten Funny. Each guest must bring a joke that once caused discomfort in polite society.”
Finn: “And we shall toast with carbonated irony. To laughter; unmeasured, unlicensed, and unrepentant.”
Scene: The Feast of Forgotten Funny
Setting: The Grand Reverb Hall, once a Ministry ballroom, now repurposed by the Snicker Underground. Velvet drapes hang like theatrical sighs. The chandeliers flicker with irony-infused flame. Each guest wears a mask carved from obsolete emojis.
Characters:
Susie, aristocrat of tonal mischief, dressed in ceremonial sequins that shimmer with sarcasm.
