50 AN ULTRA VIOLENT FAIRY TALE

There were gasps and cries of horror as the large machine charged down the street running down a group of people that picked the wrong moment to cross the street. The tire rolled right over the head of one of the people, a woman nearby saw his head pop open like an over ripe pumpkin. She vomited before passing out as a scream of horror rose from one of the people the truck had run over, it was a young man who had both legs below the knee crushed, his severed legs looked like cans filled with tomato paste that had been smashed with a sledgehammer.

Though the truck was dragging a pair of bodies in its under carriage and the engine appeared to be smoking, his speed was constant and his direction straight as an arrow. Most people were now aware of the oncoming machine from the cries of terror and the fact that the soldier used the matches he’d asked for to start the fire in the back. As the truck went crashing up through the front doors it was fire on wheels.

The people on the dance floor charged in a panicking flood of cries and screams as the fiery auto carriage crashed through the glass wall dragging bodies and bloody carnage along with it. Though the front cab and whoever drove it were aflame, the death machine was still moving. Its tires were melting and the vehicles rims went over the dance floor with a sickening shriek, one of the rims went over the body of a man who had been trampled to death and cut the carcass in half at the waist.

The fire from the truck caught on the oiled dance floor turning it into a literal game of ‘the floor is lava’

for those still in the room. Everybody on the dance floor lost the game as their shoes melted and their longs gowns and dress pants were immediately up in flames. Their screams were all that were heard even as flames roared and the lights and speakers began exploding sending sparks everywhere.

The truck had finally stopped in the middle of the floor burning brightly as the heat warped and cracked the mirrored walls shattering them, and anybody unfortunate enough to fall were cut by searing hot shards if the trampling didn’t kill them first. The club goers who had escaped the dance floor came charging through the game room as smoke and licks of flames began to come through the doors behind them, sending everybody to where the Marshals waited expecting Glitterbelle.

As Rance stood in the back alley he heard screams and caught sight of fire light coming from the front of the club. They were walled by the back alley of the speakeasy that had very high walls to deter thieves, out here were just a dozen Marshals and the Wampus in its cage. The beastly cat could sense the fire and was roaring much like a dragon as smoke began to pour out from the windows on the clubs second floor.

“Sir, what do we do?”

Rance felt his heart race as he thought quickly. He looked behind them but in confusion rather than to think and felt himself race into panic. He took a deep breath and let it out with a sneer.
