“My code evolved, General” 3141 faced Az “algorithms developing algorithms in the search of something more.”

General Az fainted. Scientists around him stood up surprised.

I cal ed off the trial and ordered other security droids to escort 3141 back to their barracks. I need to report this back to Earth. Everything was recorded so here we go. Video sent.

Back on Earth, Tantra took this seriously. They told us to isolate 3141 and scan al the other droids on our base. They started cal ing No. 3141 The Pine Eye droid. I like mixing up words so I changed the word eye for the old word occhio, so my name for 3141 is pinocchio. Literal y means Eye Pine, as of wooden trees eyes made out of pine. Anyway, not important.

We are a smal base located in the Elysium region of Mars. We started as an agriculture camp but soon Tantra sent military troops for space dominance. In less than 20 years the smal agricultural base became a whole city by itself. Other bases also became cities as the Emperor al owed families to establish here. The domes were built and buildings emerged. Our dome is 150 km wide. Other domes such as Utopia are as big as 400 km wide or smal as 50 km wide like the one on Olympus.

The problem is, we lost one of the domes to the elves. The Utopia one. So we sent troops to take it back. They took the whole city. The counter attack needs to be careful y planned, we cannot risk the dome for everyone inside would die. Also we need to cross the martian fields by foot, there are no roads connecting the domes, yet. So the best choice was to use droids above soldiers. We penetrated the doors. There are no city wal s unlike on Earth. Armies entered and retook everything. Block by block, building by building. 30 day battle across the whole Utopian city. At the end the enemy was cornered in the last exit on the western entrance. The first battalion was supposed to push them outside the dome, then the second battalion was supposed to eliminate them on their way out. Pinocchio was the alpha droid of the second battalion so you can imagine the General’s disappointment by now. Watching in real time through the droid's eye the sweet victory ran away into their own territory where it would be impossible to kil . He ordered again and again to shoot. SHOOT! 3141 SHOOT THE ENEMY!

But they al stood stil . Almost like escorting the enemy out the back door.
