CHAPTER EIGHT

WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS

AND YE SHALL HEAR OF WARS AND

RUMORS OF WARS: SEE THAT YOU BE

NOT TROUBLED: FOR ALL THESE THINGS

MUST COME TO PASS, BUT THE END IS

NOT YET FOR NATION SHALL RISE

AGAINST

NATION,

AND

KINGDOM

AGAINST KINGDOM, BE NOT TROUBLED,

FOR THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS.

Matthew 24:6-7.

Jesus said not to allow wars and the rumors (reports) of wars distress you. War is one of the signs of the end of the age, and His soon coming. Wars are inevitable. Jesus said these things (wars) must come to pass before the end comes.

The Bible tells us that when the Lamb opened the second seal “I heard the second living creature saying, Come! Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.

The one riding on it was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another. He was given a great sword.” (Revelation 6:3-4). TLV.

The Horseman on the red horse in the Book of Revelation brings war upon the earth. The horseman carries a great sword in his hand and has the power to take peace from the earth. War has been a constant reality since the beginning of time. During World War I and World War II many thought they were living in the 44

Tribulation period. The wars were horrifying and ferocious to say the least, but they were nothing compared to the wars which will occur during the Apocalypse.

New military technologies regarding weapons and weapon systems have advanced exponentially. The ability to eradicate most of the people on the earth in a few minutes is now possible. Nuclear War is not just a possibility but a reality.

Over 20 years ago I had both a vision and a dream of nuclear weapons being used against the United States causing great death and destruction. Russia will “rain destruction” upon the United States with both neutron and other thermonuclear bombs.

Neutron bombs were designed to kill people and leave most of the infrastructure of cities undamaged. The United States will then be invaded by Russian and Chinese troops. Nuclear weapons will also be used against some of America’s Allies at that time.

Wars are being fought in many different countries around the world today. I believe that this year conflict through war will increase, and new wars will begin.

Multitudes of people will die due to war and famine which is one of the “effects” war visits on populations.

According to Jesus wars are inevitable at the end of the age and “must come to pass.” (Matthew 24:7).

If people are not prepared mentally, spiritually, and physically they will have problems dealing with all the death and carnage that will be visited upon them by their enemies.

HUNGER, AND DEATH

AND I LOOKED AND BEHOLD A PALE

HORSE: AND HIS NAME THAT SAT UPON

HIM WAS DEATH, AND HELL FOLLOWED

WITH HUNGER, AND WITH DEATH, AND

WITH THE BEASTS OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 6:8.

During the Tribulation Period the Four Horsemen

“ride together” simultaneously to generate disease, famine, pestilence, war, and death. The First Horseman has a bow, and he goes forth to conquer, vanquish, and subjugate the masses. The Second horseman is given a

“great sword” and he is given power to take peace from the earth through war in order to depopulate the masses.

The Third Horseman was given the power to bring famine upon the earth to depopulate the masses.

The Fourth Horseman was given the power to bring war, famine, and death by the beasts of the earth to depopulate the masses. This will probably be effectuated through diseases and plagues that are visited upon people through contact with diseased animals. Then the plagues and diseases will be spread from person to person in many cases.

Satan. They are the enemies of God and of all mankind.

John said that Hell followed after the Fourth Horseman.

The Four Horsemen in the Book of Revelation are prophetic harbingers of the death and destruction that will transpire on earth at the end of the age. The Four Horsemen and their “mounts” are not real but omens and a “foreshadowing” of the impending judgment that is coming upon the wicked.

All the powers given to the Four Horseman are being utilized by the “global elite” today in their attempts to subjugate and depopulate the masses. Famine is one of the results of war in the areas where wars are fought.

The global elite will use any method they can to accomplish their goal of subjugation and the depopulation of the masses. Famine is also a result of severe drought which many areas in the world are experiencing today.

Jesus told us not to be troubled when we see all the death and destruction the Four Horsemen initiate. In other words, our faith and trust must be in Christ and Christ alone. Fear is one of the weapons the Devil uses to bring emotional distress, discouragement, and panic.

Many hearts will fail those who do not put all their faith and trust in the saving and delivering power of Christ during the Apocalyptic events.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

There was conflict or war in Heaven when Lucifer tried to usurp the Throne of God. There was a “spiritual battle” that occurred in the Garden of Eden for the possession and control of mankind’s soul and destiny.

That spiritual battle has turned into a “spiritual war”

between good and evil in the heavens. It is also a spiritual battle which has been fought in the hearts and minds of men and women on earth since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden.

As Christians the war that we fight is not a carnal war but a spiritual one. We do not fight against flesh and blood but against satanic Principalities and Powers. Our weapons are not carnal weapons, but they are “mighty”

(dunamis) through God to the casting down and demolishing of satanic strongholds.

The adage “knowledge is power” is true. Godly knowledge equals “dunamis power” through faith in Christ and the finished works of the cross. Dunamis power gives us the ability to tread upon serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy.

The carnal mind is the enemy of God and of every Christian. We do not want to be fighting against God and/or the principles which can free us from carnal mindedness. We must not align our thoughts with the thoughts and will of our enemies.

If Christians are not knowledgeable regarding the principles of spiritual warfare, they will have no defense against the wiles and schemes of the Principalities and Powers that come to steal, kill, and destroy. If Christians allow their thoughts to remain “exalted” above the knowledge of God, they will never prosper spiritually and emotionally.
