SINGING OF SELF (Five character)
A winter pine in a solitary winehouse
lies at ease in a world of its own;
playmate to clouds in mountain valleys,
neighbor to birds on the banks of streams.
Why coarsen the mind with trifling affairs?
I’ll delight my body with poetry and wine.
When the moon rises, I’ll recall the past
and dream repeated sweet, leisurely dreams.
