Part 6
As the day went on, my parents stood on the deck of the ship, enjoying the sight of the Ocean waves while engaging in conversation. “Where are we now?” My mother asked my father. “We're a bit far from Italy, baby! Why?” My father answered. “How long until we reach Jamaica?” She asked again. “We'll arrive in Jamaica in a few days,” he responded. “A few days?” She spoke.
“Why? Should I instruct my crew to speed up?” He questioned my mother.
“No, that's alright.” She replied.
“Are you sure?” He asked.
“Yes, I'm sure because I don't feel any urgency beyond that,” she assured him.
“Do you see the Ocean waves?” He remarked. “Of course?” She replied.
“Why?” She asked.
“You know I enjoy watching them, right?” He replied. “I already know that.” She responded. “Aren't you also a Captain?”
“Of course, you love observing the Ocean waves,” she also said. “Alright, but can I apologize now?” He asked her.
“Apologize for what?” She responded. “For last night?”
“You know we had a disagreement, right?”
“I'm truly sorry if I upset you,” my dad said. “Apology accepted!”
“But don't worry, it's not as serious as that, okay?”
“I just realized I've been away from my family for too long.”
“What if they're not well in Kingston?” She replied. “Okay! Thank you very much!” He spoke. “You're welcome!” She responded.
“I hope you're feeling happy now.”
“You're on your way to see your family in Jamaica.”
“Aren't you excited?” He asked. “Of course, I am excited!”
“Thank you so much!” She replied.
