The II Chapter
My Parents Was Married In Jamaica
Part 1
Three months later, my father and mother tied the knot in Jamaica before embarking on their journey to Italy aboard my father's ship at the time.
Well, it was in the afternoon.
For both, it was one of the most memorable moments of their lives as they stood before a Priest in a garden surrounded by family and friends. “Do you both agree to marry?” the Priest inquired of my father and mother.
“Yes, Father!” They both replied. Upon their affirmation, the Priest pronounced them husband and wife in front of everyone there.
“Now you are officially husband and wife,” he announced. “Congratulations!” the Priest expressed, offering his best wishes. I need not elaborate on the joy of their family and friends; it was evident. “Congratulations! We are happy for you both!” My grandparents expressed their joy to my parents.
However, regarding my father, only his friends were there—specifically, the crew that accompanied him—while his family was not there. “Congrats!” Their friends also told them.
“Thank you everyone!”
“Thank you!” They responded.
Indeed, my parents were two young individuals who fell in love and decided to marry in Jamaica so they could start their new life together in Italy soon later.
