Part 2
After the wedding, my parents spent the night in a hotel room they had booked, of course.
Well, this hotel was situated in the Port of TonTon in Kingston, right across from a beach and a cruise ship terminal. And my father's crew were also staying at the same hotel, albeit in separate rooms.
So, the other crew members who were with my father were with the women they met in Jamaica in their hotel rooms. Although it was indeed a surprise that my father had planned for my mother, she was unaware that the following day they would be departing Jamaica for Italy.
“We're finally married, so what's next?” She asked my father.
“We're heading to Italy tomorrow!” He responded. “What?”
“Italy!” She spoke.
“Without any preparation?” She also exclaimed. “Yes! Italy!” He responded.
“Now that we're married, we can choose to live wherever we wish,” he stated.
“But my family?”
“When?” She replied.
“What about my family?”
“Don't you think it makes sense to inform them?” She asked. “You need not worry; I have already spoken to your parents about it,” he assured her.
“Well, we are both going to have new adventures in Italy!” She remarked.
“Remember, I'm from there?”
“And I'm an Explorer?”
“So, I know every nook and cranny in my Country, okay?”
“But since you're with me, I'll take you everywhere,” he replied. Indeed, it was their final night in Jamaica before they set sail for Italy in the morning.
Part 3
While my mother was in the hotel room with my father, she opened the window to gaze out at the stunning scenery, with fireworks lighting up the Sky and reggae music playing in the background. And a few minutes later, something caught her attention as she was gazing outside the window.
Oh?
Really?
What was it this time?
What was it?
Well, as she looked at the beautiful view filled with tourists and locals, she indeed noticed a group of residents and tourists dancing with their children.
Then my father noticed her and came near her by the window. So, my father approached her, who was watching outside through the window, observing the people and children dancing to local music. “Hun? What are you looking at?”
“You can't stay alone, baby.”
“I want to be close to you,” He spoke. “I want to stick to you.” He said again. Sure? It was at that moment that my father wrapped his arms around my mother while they both continued to look outside.
“Do you see them too, darling?” She asked him. “What is it?” He spoke again. “Children and their parents?”
“That's so cute!” She remarked. “Oh! Yes!”
“And they dance so well!”
“Yes, you're right, that's cute.”
“I can't wait for you to have a beautiful child with me,” He responded. “Guess what?”
“I will?”
“Of course?” She replied and kissed him on the lips before they went to bed.
