In Pastor Connor Drake’s office…

Liam stood in front of Pastor Connor with his hands in back of him. “The meeting between me and King Winfred is done. All agreement has been reached between us. ”

Pastor Connor in relieved smile. “Splendid. Right. After much talk with Bren and Tauna, we are ready for the next meeting with King Winfred this evening.”

Bren and Tauna walking into the room with their coats on ready to leave.

Liam, placing his trench coat upon himself, his trench coat slipping off his hands, as he rubbed his hands. Picking up his coat, Tauna and Liam staring at each other in question as they walked out.

At the meeting….

King Winfred sat noble. “ Before we begin. A request for my maiden servants to the pouring of the wine. And the fine wine especially to our Detective Niles. Servants!” He snapped his fingers. The three servant maids quickly walk around the long, rectangular table, pouring wine into all the guest’s chalices. “Now that we have made our acquaintances, next, the alliances. The question of alliances between our two noblities in the rising of a new kingdom. Pastor Connor. Have you, your wife and Lady Tauna talk over the possibilities? ”

Pastor Connor, with jovial smile. “ Yes King Winfred. We all have. And with delight, we have accepted your offer. And we have signed with signet ring on paper document.”

King Winfred, in much smile. “Right. EsquireMan Servant. Bring the document to me.”

The servant, taking the document from Connor, taking it to his king.

The king, seeing the signatures, taking his pen, signs his name upon it. “Right! It has been established. Let the new kingdom begin!” Raising his chalice in respect to his guests. “ Let’s drink a toast to celebrate this special occasion. To the new kingdom.”

Pastor Connor and Bren raising their chalice with him. TO THE NEW KINGOM!”

Tauna, sitting next him, grinned in acknowledgement.

Liam, taking another swig of his fine wine, sat in questionable observance. His fingers trembling seeing the wine shaking inside the glass. As he places his glass down to pick up his fork, about to finish his meal, as the fork slips from his fingers falling to the table with a clinking sound getting everyone’s attention.

Tauna, once again giving him a questionable look.

Trey with Lauren, seeing Liam looking straight at King Winfred from across the table, as King Winfred, looking back at Liam as though looking through him.
