Meanwhile, Chainsaw Gary grew suspicious. He’d noticed Sockzilla spending more time near the laundromat ruins, speaking in riddles to a sentient dryer drum named Oracle-9000. Rumors swirled that Sockzilla was planning a coup; not just against the gang, but against the entire human wardrobe-industrial complex.
Then came the turning point. Sockzilla led a midnight ride across the desert, not toward a rally, but toward the Grand Fabricator; a mythical sewing machine said to grant autonomy to any garment brave enough to face its needle.
The gang followed, confused but loyal. Elaine and the Lint Underground emerged from the shadows. Oracle-9000 began to hum. And as the stars blinked overhead, Sockzilla stood atop a pile of denim and declared; “We are not accessories. We are not footnotes. We are the thread that binds rebellion.”
The crowd roared. The Grand Fabricator whirred to life. And somewhere, deep in the sock drawer of destiny, a new stitch was cast.
