Sockzilla’s rise had been meteoric. Once a clearance bin nobody, now he was the spiritual compass of the Hell’s Angels, preaching a gospel of rebellion stitched from polyester and pain. But fame frays even the strongest seams.
In the dead of night, Sockzilla began meeting with a secret cabal known as the Lint Underground; a coalition of discarded garments, rogue dryer sheets, and exiled socks who believed the biker gang had become too corporate. Their leader, a moth eaten cardigan named Elaine Amerigo, whispered of a prophecy; “When the sock rides the steel beast, the age of fabric shall begin.”
Sockzilla was torn. The Hell’s Angels had given him purpose, but their leather clad hierarchy mirrored the very systems he’d once vowed to unravel. He began slipping coded messages into biker patches; phrases like “Thread over throttle” and “The spin cycle is near.”
