Chapter Ten
The Limit Toward Infinity
I do not know where she walks now. Perhaps beneath a gentler sky. Perhaps in the arms of a love that finally gave her peace. Perhaps in a world where my name no longer echoes.
But I am still here. Still breathing. Still praying. Each breath is a term. Each prayer a silent sum, reaching endlessly toward something that will never be complete.
I pray that no sorrow darkens her doorstep. That her smile rises every morning like dawn. That her heart is always held gently; Even if not by me.
I pray for her dreams, that they take root and grow tall like the woman she is. That nothing ever makes her feel small again.
As my arms are empty, My devotion is full. Though she closed the pages, My heart still reads her name across the margins of every silence.
Though she is no longer mine, she is still my vow. Still my hush. Still my forever.

Here I am…Still keeping my vow; To love her to my last breath. Not to hold you… But to hold space for her peace, Even if it’s not with me. So if she finds joy in another smile, If she laughs again in arms that aren’t mine; she should just know that somewhere, quietly, my heart is still beating for her.
And so the question returns again, quiet but burning: What do we do with a love that wouldn’t die? I guess we keep it. We let it ache. We let it bloom in the quiet spaces where no one else can see. We let it whisper back to us on lonely nights and empty mornings. We let it be our proof that once, we loved without limit.
Because some love do not vanish. They become prayer. They become poetry. They become a rhythm that lives on inside us, Even when the song is over.
This is not the kind of love that ends. This is the kind that transforms; into liturgy, into breath, into something that refuses to be buried.
She is still here. Not in my life. But in everything. She is the nontrivial kernel of my existence. And I am the man still carrying it all; term after term, Prayer after prayer, a Limit approaching infinity.

A love I will carry to my grave.
