Having packets of fresh, healthy food packed away in the fridge and freezer, ready to be eaten is a satisfying and gratifying feeling. If these recipes do not quite fit in with your particular weight-loss diet, then simply modify them until the macronutrients are where you want them to be! Less carbs? No worries. More protein? Easy. Just download a calorie-counting app, load the recipes in, and shuffle things around to reach your desired numbers.
Always remember to prep meals that you want to eat! In my opinion, the best foods are healthy and delicious, and once you hit that sweet-spot you can lose weight without even noticing that you’ve changed your diet! You’ll be so satisfied and full from your yummy, nutrient-filled foods that you won’t get that horrible sense of deprivation and craving which comes with many strict diets.
Make a day of it and go shopping for containers, oils, spices, non-perishables, masking tape and sharpies for labeling, a diary to plan your meals and prep days, and put it all in a pretty and space-saving box.
Make your prep-sessions fun and relaxing, as they should be! You deserve to enjoy your life, your diet, and your kitchen.
