Breaded Chicken Freezer Packets

This freezer packet features breaded chicken, which you can place on a baking tray and bake in the oven, straight from the freezer. Great for chicken and veggie tray bakes with any veggies you like! You’ll thank yourself for prepping these protein-filled packets!

Serves: 8 freezer packets, each with 3 small pieces of chicken (1 serving per packet)

Container: you will need 8 freezer-friendly, sealable bags

Time: approximately 15 minutes

• Protein: 35 grams
• Carbs: 22 grams

Ingredients:

• 2 eggs, lightly beaten
• 2 cups breadcrumbs mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper
• 4 large chicken breasts, each cut into 6 pieces

Method:

1. Prepare your work space by placing the beaten egg in a small bowl next to a plate of breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
2. Line a baking tray with baking paper and keep nearby so you can place your breaded chicken onto it.
3. Take your chicken pieces and dip them into the egg, then straight into the breadcrumbs, turning a few times to thoroughly coat in breadcrumbs.
4. Place the breaded chicken pieces onto your lined tray and place in the freezer.
5. Once frozen, divide the chicken pieces between your 8 freezer bags and stack into the freezer to store until needed!
6. To cook, simply preheat your oven to 356 degrees Fahrenheit, place the chicken pieces onto a lined baking tray and bake for about 25 minutes or until cooked through, no need to thaw first.
