Never Discourage

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they

should always pray and not give up.”

Luke 18:1

Do not allow external problems, including those of your own body, to become a hurdle for the work of your illumination. While you are in the material plan, like the crust of the Earth, you will always be faced with difficulty and pain. The lesson given constitutes the way to new lessons. Behind the solved enigma, other enigmas will appear. The function of the school cannot be other, than teaching, exercising, and perfecting.

Then, fill yourself with calm and encouragement, in all situations. You were placed among a thousand obstacles of a strange nature, so that, by overcoming inhibitions in the outside, you may learn to overcome your own limitations.

As long as the earthly community does not adapt to the new light, you will breathe surrounded by unsettling tears, careless gestures, and dark feelings.

Be ready to forgive and always help, in order that you do not miss the glorious opportunity for spiritual growth. Remember all the afflictions that surrounded the Christian spirit, in the world, since the coming of the Lord. Where is the Sanhedrin that condemned the Celestial Friend to death?

Where are the vain and domineering Romans? Where are the executioners of the nascent Good News? Where are the warriors who made run sweat and dark rivers of blood around the Gospel?

Where are the shrewd princes who fought and negotiated in the name of the Crucified Renovator?

Where is the darkness of the Middle Ages? Where are the politicians and inquisitors of every sort, who wounded in the name of the Excellent Benefactor? Driven by time to the cliffs of ash, they fortified and consolidated the pedestal of light, in which the figure of Christ shines, increasingly glorious, in the government of the centuries. Focus on the effort to help in the common good, follow with your cross, to meet the divine resurrection. In the embarrassing surprises of the march, remember that first and foremost, it is important the permanent habit of praying, by working, serving, learning, loving, and never discouraging.
