AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT

“A man's inner duty is determined by his free will. The sting of conscience, the guardian of inner probity, warns and sustains him, but it often proves powerless in the face of the sophistries of passion. Faithfully observed, the duty of the heart elevates the individual, but how can it be determined with precision? Where does it begin? The war effectively plagues Humanity, sowing terror and slaughter among nations; however, wrongly guided affection, through mocked commitment, covers the world with victims. Whoever studies the conflicts of sexuality on Earth today, admitting that civilization is in decline, simply examining the absurdities practiced in the name of love, has not yet understood that the problems of emotional balance are, up to now, of all times in planetary life.

The Laws of the Universe will await us for millennia, but they will eventually be inscribed in light characters in our consciences. These Laws determine that we love others as we love ourselves.

To avoid being psychically mutilated, we mustn't mutilate others. In terms of affection, over the centuries, we have often headed in the direction of narcissism and, stretched out in the voluptuousness of sterile pleasure, we have trampled on the feelings of others, pushing esteemed and noble creatures into processes of anguish and criminality, after binding them to ourselves with the bond of brilliant promises, which we then discard in an unwise move.

Every time a determinate person invites another to intimate situations or accepts an appeal from someone in this sense, based on affinity and trust, a circuit of forces is established between them, through which the pair feeds psychically on spiritual energies in a regime of reciprocity.

When one of the partners fails to keep a commitment without a fair cause, it harms the other in maintaining emotional balance, regardless of the circumstances of the commitment. There is a rupture in the exchange of magnetic charges of maintenance from soul to soul.

If the injured partner does not have superior knowledge in self-defense, he panics without being able to foresee the loss of control that often borders on delinquency. Such results of imprudence and lack of vigilance have repercussions on the aggressor, who will share the consequences triggered by himself, laying the groundwork for the shared conflicts and frustrations that he will carry into the future.

We know that Human Justice imposes punishments for acts of plunder in the sphere of objective realities, considering the respectability of the interests of others; however, earthly legislators will also realize, one day, that Divine Justice also reaches those who violate the Law of Love and determines it installs in their consciences the reflexes of the emotional plunder that they perpetrate against others.

Hence comes the certainty that we will not escape the unfortunate equations of sentimental commitments, unjustly disregarded, which we will redeem in due time, installment by installment, by accounting for the principles of cause and effect.

Reincarnated as we will always be, in this sense, until we exonerate our Spirit from the mutilations and conflicts arising from the environment of thoughtlessness, we will learn in the body of our manifestations or the ambiance of personal experience through penology without apparent imprisonment, that we will never harm others without harming ourselves.
