It is up to us to decide to believe what the Bible tells us about Mary or to believe what people teach us about her (dogmas, traditions, customs) and that many times this is not in accordance with the Word of God. That they have no biblical support and in many cases, verses that are misinterpreted.
Now we will learn in the Light of Scripture the correct teachings about Mary.
If I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, I must believe it as such and not just part of it, much less mix it with other arguments, teachings, traditions, false revelations (since the only TRUE revelation is the Holy Scriptures and there is no other revelation outside of it). If we do that, we would be perverting (corrupting, disturbing the order or state of a thing, in this case the Word of God, saying things that God has not said) the gospel.
