Gregory flickered. He groaned. But this time, it was not Latin-it was laughter. The chandelier laughed. The candle flared. The room echoed with the acoustics of mythic recognition.
Trial concluded. Gregory was not suspended. He was elevated.
The Leak of Sincerity
It began with a drip.
Not of water, but of tone-an emotional viscosity that seeped from the Room of Sincerity into the castle's infrastructure. At first, it was subtle; a sigh lingered too long in the corridor of passive-aggressive weather, and Sir Flinchington bowed with what could only be described as genuine remorse.
Gregory the chandelier began flickering in empathy.
Finn, ever attuned to emotional frequencies, noticed the locks responding differently. Doors once sealed by ritual ambiguity now opened to reveal scenes of unguarded memory; a forgotten birthday toast, a letter never sent, a sock tribunal that ended in reconciliation.
Lady Sigh panicked. "Forecast: vulnerability with scattered clarity."
