11. The House of Transformation

Colors exploded in a clash of reds, oranges, and deep blues. The works here were bold, capturing the raw essence of change —fire and water intertwining, figures shedding their forms and emerging anew.

In one corner, a sculpture of a phoenix stood frozen mid-flight, its wings outstretched, flames carved into its body stuck in an eternal moment of rebirth. The sculpture seemed to pulse with motion, as if at any second it might rise and take flight. It radiated a heat like a newly forged weapon.

Darius gave an approving nod. “Alright, I’ll give them this one. Transformation ’s a cool theme.”

Lucien elbowed him lightly in the ribs, a rare smirk crossing his lips. “But that means you ’d have to change…”

“Alright, don’t ruin it.”

He studied the sculpture, its fiery wings outstretched toward the sky. Transformation. Change. It all seemed so effortless here, captured in stone and light. But in reality... change never came so easily.

Lucien ’s hand slipped into his pocket, fingers brushing against the edge of the pin Leona had found earlier—the one that didn’t belong.

The colors here were softer, the art more introspective. Each piece seemed designed to reflect a journey —paintings of winding paths disappearing into mist, open doors framed by golden light, and two figures standing together at the edge of vast landscapes.
