Swirling galaxies and distant planets stretched across the exhibits in vivid, striking colors. The air itself felt different—cooler, quieter, as if the vastness of space pressed in from all sides.

In the center of the room, a small holographic spacecraft hovered, its delicate lights reflecting off the polished floor. It rotated slowly and the sound of engines piped through speakers, giving the illusion it came from the craft.

Lucien's thoughts drifted beyond the exhibit. Exploration. But only as far as the system allows.

No one had been back to space in millennia. The stars were mapped, understood, and abandoned—left to hang in the sky, distant and unreachable. AstroSYS had brought order to the world, but it had grounded humanity in more ways than one.

The House of Harmony was larger, its exhibits curated with meticulous care to evoke peace, balance, and unity. The lighting was softer here, bathing everything in a warm, golden glow. A floral scent mixed with the air-conditioning further creating a sense of peace.

At the center, a massive mural dominated the room —a planetary system perfectly aligned, its luminous orbits creating an intricate web of interconnected paths. The message was clear: everything had its place. Everything moved in harmony.

Darius tilted his head, rubbing his chin in exaggerated thought. “You know, I bet they pump subliminal calming waves in here or something.”

Leona snorted. “Wouldn’t surprise me.”

Lucien let the mural wash over him, but his focus had already begun to drift. Harmony, he thought. Or compliance?
