Chapter 16

Christ Night Gala for Students

On December 5th, precisely at 7 PM, I find myself in my parents' room preparing for the Gala.

Well, I look fantastic, just like I do when I gaze into the mirror in my parents' room. “How do I look?”

“Do I look perfect?” I asked while standing in front of a tall mirror that stands upright in my parents' room, the same way they check their appearance before heading out.

So, I admired my reflection in my stylish black suit, black pants, a red tie, a white shirt, and red shoes, realizing I looked amazing.

Then I took a brush and tidied my hair and spritzed some perfume on myself. “Oh my God, I look incredible tonight!”

“Xeyamia will be proud to accompany me,” I said again, beaming.

Even though I have a front tooth that’s been knocked out, I felt confident.

Meanwhile, Xeyamia was at home in her room, getting ready for me to pick her up. “Oh Xeyamia!”

“You look stunning, sweetheart!” Her mother complimented her as she styled her hair.

At that moment, she was seated in front of a mirror while her mother brushed her hair. “Really?”

“Thank you so much, Mom!” She replied. “Alright, dear, who’s coming to get you?”

“Do you want a ride from me or your father?” Her mother suggested. “No, thank you.”

“Neither of you needs to drive me to the Gala.”

“I’m going with Werley—our neighbor, you know?”

“He asked me to be his date for the Gala, and I said yes?” She explained to her mother.

“Did you say Werley? The young man who lives nearby and often annoys the neighbors?” Her mother responded. “Yes, Mom? You’re right?”

“But he’s not a bad person after all.”

“He’s just a man with big, ambitious dreams that can be intimidating,” she answered. “Are you sure?” Her mother asked. “Yes, I’m sure.”

“I can trust him with my eyes closed,” she replied with a smile.

“Okay, but please be careful!” Her mother cautioned her.

“Thanks, Mom, I will be careful!” She assured her.

Indeed, once I was ready, I headed over to Xeyamia's house to pick her up.

Standing at her front door, I was prepared to knock when her father answered after a few moments. “Good evening, Mr. Frank!” I greeted him. “How are you?” I asked Mr. Frank, Xeyamia's father.

“Oh! Hey Werley!” He responded, “Good evening.”, “I'm fine, and you?”

“What brings you here?” He asked, smiling. “I'm good.”

“Thank you.” I replied. “I'm here to pick up Xeyamia.”

“Your lovely daughter and I are attending a Gala organized by our school this evening, which will continue into the morning hours,” I explained. “Oh really?” He responded. “Welcome, Werley!”

“Would you like to come in, or would you prefer to stay outside?” He offered it. “Sure, let me in?” I said as I stepped inside and stood by the door.

“Mr. Frank, did your daughter mention this to you?” I asked.

“Yes, she did, along with her mother.”

“Typically, she doesn't go out with anyone without our knowledge!” He replied. “That's the rule!”

“Thankfully, she has been raised with good principles that will serve her well in such a chaotic World.” I acknowledged it. “Thank you.”

“You look fantastic.”

“Where did you find that fine dress?” He asked.

“Oh, I purchased it at a store!” I answered. “Alright, great.”

“Please wait here while I call Xeyamia for you,” he said.

“I would greatly appreciate that, sir, as time passes!” I responded.

Shortly after, as Xeyamia descended the stairs to reach the door for us to leave, she focused on me so intently that she appeared stunning, reminding me that there is no love more beautiful than black love, especially since both our families are black. “Hi Werley!” Xeyamia greeted me. “Hi, beautiful!” I responded. “Wow, you look incredibly beautiful!” I exclaimed.

“I almost fainted too!” I added. “Really?” She asked. “Thank you very much!” She continued. “You’re not the only one who thinks I’m beautiful; everyone at home says the same thing,” she said.

“And I really like your dress too!” I replied. “You and I are wearing the same colors— black, red, and white,” I noted. “Thank you very much!” She replied. “You look handsome as well, and I love your dress too!” She smiled at me. “Thank you, and you’re welcome!” I replied.

At that moment, we stood in front of the door, talking, and I took her hand, turning her around to admire how stunning her dress looked on her.

“So, what time is it?” She inquired.

As we glanced at the clock by the door, we noticed it was nearly 8 o'clock. “Oh, it’s almost 8!” I exclaimed. “We need to hurry!” I urged.

Then she called out loud, “Mom! Dad! I’m going!”, “See you later, guys!”

To attend the Gala, I don't use my parents' car; instead, I take my father's motorcycle.

Thanks to this bike, we made our way to the Gala.

It may seem a bit unusual, but it's the motorcycle I prefer.

“Nice motorcycle!” She remarked. “Thank you!”

“It belongs to my father,” I replied. “Are you ready to ride with me?” I asked her.

“So, you mean we're riding a motorcycle instead of a car? Is that what you're saying?” She responded with curiosity. “Yes, we're going on this motorcycle?” I confirmed.

“Don't worry, I'm a skilled rider!” I assured her.

“Okay?” She replied. “Oh my God, I'm so scared!” She said, her voice is a mix of fear and humor.

As we mounted the motorcycle, I positioned myself in front while she sat behind me, gripping me tightly.

Then, we took off.

In fact, as I rode down the road, it felt like we were in a motorcycle race, and she was taken aback.

“Oh my God! Werley, you need to slow down!”

“I'm scared now!” She exclaimed while we were riding.

“Okay, Hun! We're almost there.”

“Hold on tight!” I replied to her.

Upon our arrival at the Nelusma City Hotel, one of the largest hotels in the Country, we found ourselves in the hotel's ballrooms where the school was hosting the Gala. Well, it was our time to shine.

After I parked the motorcycle and we dismounted, I noticed her hair was a bit disheveled.

“Oops! Your hair looks messy!” I remarked. “Oh my God, my hair!” She exclaimed. “My beautiful black hair! It's all your fault!” She added.

“I apologize for that, but remember I mentioned that I'm skilled at riding a motorcycle?” I replied. “Yeah, right! You're the reason we might meet our end!” She shot back.

Fortunately, she had a hairbrush tucked away in a small bag she was carrying.

As soon as we parked, we made our way to the hotel entrance.

“What a lovely hotel!” She commented as we approached the entrance.

“Yes, it really is nice!” I agreed. “Have you been here before?” She asked. “No, this is my first visit!” I answered. “Me too! It's my first time here as well," she said.

Once inside, we sought directions to the ballrooms.

“Hello, sir? Excuse me?”

“Do you know where the ballroom is?” I asked a hotel staff member. “Right this way, please follow me!” The employee responded.

Indeed, that led us to the ballroom, which was already filled with students, Teachers, and school staff seated at tables set up for everyone.

However, as Xeyamia and I entered the ballroom after exiting the elevator, she spotted a group of her friends and dashed over to greet them.

Sooner, we took our seats at the table where our names were listed as Guests, and we enjoyed watching the entire Gala; it was a delightful experience.

“Are you happy?” I asked her. “Oh, I'm extremely happy.”

“And what about you?” She answered while observing a play.

Of course, during the Gala, some students were acting, singing, joking, and reciting poetry.

“Yes, I'm very happy as well.”

“I struggle to find the words to express how thrilled I am that you're my date for the Gala,” I told her. “Wow! Thank you so much!” She responded with a giggle. “You're welcome, my lovely!” I replied. By that time, everyone inside was laughing and enjoying each other's company; it was truly an unforgettable experience, of course.

But wait a moment!

You need to hear this!

Are you aware that Xeyamia and

I shared another romantic

experience?

Yes! Absolutely!

In the dead of night, around 12 AM, it was time for the dance, where every student, Teacher, staff member, and their dates had to join in.

The ballroom was large and spacious, eliminating any uncertainty about space, of course.

The lights resembled disco or party lights, and everyone was dancing with their partners.

“Would you like to dance?” I asked Xeyamia. “Yes?” She replied.

As soon as she agreed to dance, I stood up from my chair to take her hand, and we rose to dance. And the way we danced together while the love music played felt like I was dreaming and floating in Space; her touch was so soft and pleasant that I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed.

A few minutes later, I said to her, “I'm glad to see you happy!”, “You are so kind and not overly demanding!”, “I truly appreciate you!”

“Thank you for the compliments,” she responded with a gentle smile.

Then, I twirled her around and danced with her while standing behind her. “What time do you think we should leave?” She asked me.

“It's midnight now, right?” I said, “We can leave at 2 AM after the dance.”

“Alright, that works for me,” she replied.

Indeed, we left at 2 AM, just a few hours later, but we didn't head home right away; instead, I took her for a stroll on the lawn near the sea, close to the garage. “We had such a great time at the Gala!” She remarked.

“Yes, it was a blast!” I agreed. “You danced really well, you know!” I told her.

“Oh, thank you!” She responded. “I was trying to impress you.” She also said. “Me too! I was trying to impress you!” I replied.

“But I genuinely felt great!” She spoke. “Me too!” I echoed. “I felt wonderful!” She laughed. “You almost had me pee on me!” I told her. “Omg! What?” She responded and laughed.

As we conversed, we lay on our backs on the grass, gazing at the stunning blue Sky, searching for beautiful Celestial Objects. “Wow, the Sky is gorgeous!” She exclaimed. “I love it!”

“I completely agree!” I replied. “The Sky is truly beautiful, and I enjoy looking at the Sky and everything in it as well!” She told me again.

A few minutes later, she requested that I share five facts about the Sky that she was unaware of, saying, “Can you tell me five facts about the Cosmic that I don't know?” I found it a challenging question to respond to.

“You should tell me five facts that I don't know,” I answered her while pondering my response in my room.

“Alright, I agree!” She agreed. “Let me share five Cosmic facts that I know might be correct,” she told me. “Really?” I exclaimed. “Oh, I can't wait to hear them!”

“Please, go ahead and tell me,” I encouraged her.

“First, the blue Sky is not merely a reflection of the Ocean,” she informed me. “Really? You genuinely think that?” I replied.

“Second, the white Sun we observe every morning, and afternoon is not actually a Sun, but perhaps a Star,” she explained. “Wow! Are you serious?” I responded. “Of course, I am serious! Please, read Revelation 6:13!” She told me. “Third, the Universe is black!” She continued. “Fourth, the true Elites are those who control money printing and various systems,” she added. “Are you serious?” I asked in disbelief. “And finally, fifth, God is real!” She concluded.

“Oh my God! Where did you learn all these details?” I then asked her. “You know that my family and I are Christians, right?”

“My grandfather shared a lot with my mother, and she passed it on to me, ” she replied.

“Oh my God! You really make me think.”

“Thank you so much for sharing this with me,” I said.

At that moment, it was 3 a.m., and the motorcycle was parked close to where we were lying on our backs.

Suddenly, an idea struck me. “Yes, what if?” I said to her.

“What if?” She asked. “What if Earth isn't a Planet but something entirely different?” I responded. “Oh, I had that thought too?” She replied. “Yeah, what if Earth isn't the only advanced World with cars, planes, and other technologies?” I suggested it. “I can't say, as I don't live in another World,” she answered.

“I only know about Earth,” she added, and I couldn't help but laugh. “You're laughing, right?” I asked. “But I'm completely serious?” I told her. “What if there are other advanced Worlds just like Earth, governed by a Supreme God?” I continued.

“Maybe the same God oversees all Worlds, if they exist,” she replied. “That's exactly my point!” I told her. “I agree with you.” She responded and kissed me on the lips.

Then, as it turned 4 a.m. a couple of minutes later, we got up, and I took her home.

Unlike many other students at our College, we didn't go to a hotel or engage in intimacy in a room after leaving the Gala. “When are you launching the rocket?” She asked me as I dropped her off at her house. “Oh, the rocket!”

“What a surprise that you're asking about the rocket launch!”

“I'm planning to relaunch it on December 12th, and I hope to succeed this time!” I responded.

“Okay, that's all I need to know.”

“Thanks for the ride; I enjoyed our date!”

“Goodnight!” She told me while smiling. “Thank you for your company.”

“We had a wonderful time together.”

“Goodnight!” I replied. “Thank you very much!” She told me. “You're welcome.”

“I look forward to seeing you in a couple of hours,” I told her.

“Okay, sounds good.”

“This is where I'll always be during my free time.”

“I'll see you later,” she replied as she entered and closed the door.
