Magic, Monsters and Adventure await Kiran Kehomba, a young man aspiring to follow his grandfather and become a great wizard. His first task is creating the spells for the Witching Tournament held every three years across the land, where the successful contestants will become licensed magical practitioners. However, the ingredients he wants happens to be from monsters, and in doing so, Kiran encounters a dragon named Gatril. The two end up forming a partnership, and embark on a journey to help Kiran acquire the powers needed to become one of the world's greatest wizards.
