Grandpa Whiskers nodded thoughtfully. "Oh, many times, Stevie.
But I learned that courage isn't about not being afraid; it's
about facing your fears and learning from them. And no matter
where I went, I always knew I had a loving family to return to."
As the dream began to fade, Grandpa Whiskers gave Stevie a
gentle nudge. "Remember, little one, our stories are a part of
you. Carry them with you, and you'll never be alone."
As the sun set, Stevie and his grandparents sat by the
fireplace, watching the flames dance and listening to the
soothing crackle of the wood. Stevie felt a sense of peace and
happiness he had never known before. He knew that this was a
place where he belonged, surrounded by love and warmth.
Just as Stevie was about to fall asleep in his dream, he heard a
soft voice calling his name. It was his mother, gently waking
him up. Stevie opened his eyes, feeling the comfort of his own
bed. Though it had all been a dream, Stevie knew that one day,
he would visit his grandparents for real. Until then, he would
cherish the magical adventure he had in his dreams.
On the Street Where You Live
I have often walked down this street before
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
All at once am I several stories high
