They greeted Stevie with warm hugs and purrs, making him feel

right at home.

Inside the cottage, Grandma Paws had prepared a feast of

Stevie's favorite treats; tuna biscuits, creamy milk, and a

special fish pie. Grandpa Whiskers told Stevie stories of his

own adventures when he was a young kitten, filling the room with

laughter and wonder.

"Ah, where to begin?" Grandpa Whiskers mused. "When I was a

young kitten, much like you, I lived in a grand old barn on a

farm. It was a place full of mystery and adventure."

He began to weave tales of his youth, of chasing butterflies in

the golden fields, of daring escapades with his siblings, and of

the wise old owl who lived in the rafters and shared secrets of

the night. Stevie listened intently, his imagination painting

vivid pictures of each story.

"There was one summer," Grandpa Whiskers continued, "when I

decided to explore the forest beyond the farm. I met all sorts

of creatures; friendly deer, mischievous raccoons, and even a

wise old tortoise who taught me the importance of patience."

Stevie's heart swelled with admiration for his grandpa's bravery

and wisdom. "Did you ever get scared, Grandpa?" he asked softly.
