47 AN ULTRA VIOLENT FAIRY TALE

His eyes which were glassy and timid looking, suddenly became wide and alert, his breathing was normal but his heart was beating fast. The soldier had an erection and Glitterbelle had to do everything in her power not to flick his manhood with her clawed finger out of fear it might make the Marshal resist the potion or her orders.

“Where are the other Marshals?”

“Crow’s Nest, around the corner.”

“All of them are there?”

“No, most of them are in the sewer tunnel below the club. They think you’re coming that way.” he said with wet lips breathing deeply, Glitterbelle could see the pulse on his neck beating.

“Just soldiers from The Order?”

“No, Eric Wheeler has some of his men but they’re all on the top floor….” he stuttered as if confused.

“What else...”

“They have guns, Paradine issued us hand cannons, tasers and we have a Wampus to track your scent.”

“Really?”

“Yes, I drove it here.”

“You have an auto carriage?” she asked with a devilish crossing her face as her eyes became smoldering rocks of charcoal.

“Yes...”

Glitterbelle but up her hands to the soldier’s face and told him to lick off the potion from her hands, hoping the soldier didn’t go brain dead before following her orders. He licked her palms and every finger clean, his heart didn’t explode in his chest and his breathing slowed but that alert look in his eyes was just as prominent. She took the sword he was carrying because she was in a cutting mood, it was 48 AN ULTRA VIOLENT FAIRY TALE

very heavy and nearly as tall as her. It had a blackened metal handle and a dingy looking steel blade that gave the sword a dirty look that made her smile.

The Marshal left her and went around the corner in a wide eyed but very soldierly walk to Crow’s Nest.

There was a line at the front for people to go inside that was being handled by a large man in a suit with a battle axe over his shoulder. The burly bouncer unlocked a length of velvet rope to allow the soldier inside.

“Yo, man you alright.” the bouncer asked.

The soldier just gave a nod that made him drool a little but that was all.

“Whatever, just don’t be fuckin with the customers.” he said over his shoulder.

The soldier passed the stage on the dance floor where Eric Wheeler stood at a microphone introducing a live performer. He was chubby looking in the suit he wore but looked and sounded confident up on the stage.

“Give a round of applause to Marisa!”

A woman in a long black dress stepped out onto the dark stage into a bright spot light. Though the applause she got was thunderous and joyful, the woman looked sad and smiled a smile that looked painful to produce. The Marshal felt sad for the woman who had raven black hair with streaks of pink through out but the potion made him forget her as soon as he passed her by.

In a corner of the dance floor was his captain, Rance. He was going into an office when he finally caught up to him. Rance noticed the wide eyed corporal coming towards him and felt anger bubble up inside of himself.

“Are you fuckin high, corporal?” Rance asked thinking he had either done a bump of coke or a shot of dragon tears.

“Sir, I saw...Glitterbelle. She’s coming through the back way but she doesn’t...know I know.”

Rance immediately forgot about his soldier being high and dismissed his talking like a retard and ordered him to positions. He saluted but instead went passed the stage where the black and pink haired woman began to sing.
