“What are you waiting for, little girl?” said a squirrel watching her on top of the black fence.

“Soldiers are not good! do not let them see you!” so she stepped inside and closed the door behind.

Inside only candles lit up the scene, everything was made out of wood as furniture used in the 3rth Era. in front of her was a large hal way with three closed doors, to the left of her was the living room with an L couch and to the right was the kitchen with a wooden table. Over the table there was an abundant hot meal. Meat, carrots, cake, candies and milk. Also some grapes were hanging from it. Little girl was so hungry she climbed the chairs and took some meat, then a glass of milk, then one carrot and final y a big piece of cake. On her way down the bel rang by itself which caused the snake to appear from thin air.

“Hel o my dear, did you enjoy the meal?” Snake asked, hissing.

Little girl nodded and revolved its long body around her. “Wait until you see the beds, you can choose anyone you want and you wil not need your coat to feel warm for the sheets are so thick no heat can escape from them.” Snake disappeared again. Little girl looked into the hal way and walked. She tried the first door. Locked. She tried the second door, a bathroom.

She tried the third door. There were two individual beds on the right side and a big bed in the center. Said bed had the most warming sheets. Little girl climbed up and fel asleep.

In her dream the snake visited the house and her teddy bear came behind. They both climbed the bed and spooned her. One in front and one behind.

As our beloved main character slept like an innocent angel indifferent to the diabolic events and suffering that had struck the city just 12 hours ago, some soldiers came back to the house expecting to have the most relaxing meal since they left their country of origin to invade the enemy’s. They were gonna eat, then rape the women they took from other houses in the main bed. Said women had their mouths covered for soldiers who did not like unnecessary screams.

But something was not according to their plans for someone obviously had been inside the house.

“Who the fuck has been here?” asked one of the soldiers.

A chair was on the floor, the hot meal was completely gone and the couch had some scraps as if a big cat was there before. A note was left on it which read “Beware of the monster”

Soldiers could not be more careful, they readied their guns and tied up the women in the corner then proceeded to investigate the house. They made a line formation, first unit leading the way, center unit fol owing and last unit guarding the rear. First door, the soldier used the key and opened it. Dead bodies were stil there as they were since the morning. Captain ordered them to keep them there for the streets needed to look clean for the admiral’s arrival. Second door, 131

bathroom. Everything seemed ok, they checked behind the bathroom curtain and found nothing.

Rear soldier thought he saw something moving in the shadows but didn’t risk it to be wrong and kept quiet. Third room, a military team came inside and turned the flashlights on. Saw something in the bed. It was a lovely little girl whose cuteness overflowed from the bed, someone could bet an angel came down to place her there asleep in that position forever lovely in the middle of a diabolic war. Elite military team did not know how to proceed and tapped her body with the barrel of the rifle. Little girl woke up and looked at them with no judgment. That was until the rear soldier pointed the flashlight at her which made the little girl angry and scared for she took out the bel and rang it. Snake appeared and faced the soldiers from the other side of the bed, but this time the snake was so big just its face was the size of the three soldiers.

“Are you going to rape the little girl as you planned to do to the other girls back there?”

Soldiers ran away. Snake managed to eat the first one, jumped from the bed into the hal way and ate the second soldier scattering al his blood and leg remains. Last soldier turned around and tried to shoot but the gun jammed.

“Oh god, is it jammed?” Someone asked him. Rear soldier looked to the couch and a big teddy bear smoking a cigar was looking at him “Oops, I just freed the girls”. Snake turned back into its normal size to stroke the soldier's body. “We are the devil’s powers used by innocent souls to make the world into their own image” Said snake before stroking so hard, soldier’s eyes popped out “Guess God won this one” Said, then proceeded to engulf his complete body so slow he ensured he felt the gastric juices decomposing his skin alive.

Little girl had gone to sleep again after the snake left the room with the three strange men. Next morning she climbed down the bed and went into the kitchen to find her teddy bear as she gave it to the snake the day before, lying on the couch. She took it into her arms and hugged it for she missed it. Little girl walked outside to find a big centaur waiting for her.

“Hel o little girl, your name’s Alyd did you know? and there is nothing left for you in this Earth, only suffering, i’m taking you with me in an act of love under God’s command”

Last thing the little girl saw was the centaur lifting his right arm, readying his spear towards her heart.
