CHAPTER FOURTEEN

THE VALLEY OF DECISION

MULTITUDES, MULTITUDES IN THE

VALLY OF DECISION. FOR THE DAY OF

THE LORD IS NEAR IN THE VALLEY OF

DECISION. Joel 3:14.

The Valley of Decision is the Valley of Jehoshaphat, located just outside of Israel, where God will judge the nations that despise and try to destroy Israel.

“Jehoshaphat” means “Yahweh judges.” Spiritually speaking, many today are in the Valley of Decision and/or in derision. Many are languishing in the Valley of Sin, Doubt, and Unbelief, and it will be judged for their transgressions and sins if they do not repent.

The Valley of Jehoshaphat is a prophetic mystery connected with the Valley of Megiddo where the armies of Russia, Iran, and their Allies will meet their demise.

The Bible tells us that “John saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils working miracles which will go forth unto the kings of the whole earth, and of the world to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty.” (See Revelation 16:13-14).

The great day of the Lord is a reference to the

Battle of Armageddon. The Valley of Megiddo is

the place where Israel defeated the Canaanites

and the Midianites in two different battles.

Because of its history the valley has become a symbol of the final conflict between good and

evil. Megiddo is the place where God has

“decided” that conflict on earth will end before

the Thousand Year Reign of Christ. “And He

gathered them together into a place in the

Hebrew called Armageddon.” (Revelation

16:16).

GOG AND MAGOG

AND THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME

UNTO ME SAYING, SON OF MAN SET THY

FACE AGAINST GOG, THE LAND OF

MAGOG, THE CHIEF PRINCE OF MESHCH

AND TUBAL: AND I WILL TURN THEE

BACK, AND PUT HOOKS IN THY JAWS,

AND I WILL BRING THEE FORTH, AND

ALL

THINE

ARMY,

HORSES

AND

HORSEMEN, ALL OF THEM CLOTHED

WITH ALL SORTS OF ARMOR, EVEN A

GREAT COMPANY WITH BUCKLERS AND

SHIELDS, ALL OF THEM HANDLING

SWORDS; PERSIA, ETHIOPIA, AND LIBYA

WITH THEM; ALL OF THEM WITH SHIELD

AND HELMET. Ezekiel 38:1-5.

Gog is a reference to the leader of what is now modern-day Russia and Magog is a reference to Russia.

Persia is a reference to Iran, and of course Libya and Ethiopia are still named Libya and Ethiopia. Many Bible scholars believe that Meshech and Tubal are references to places in modern day Turkey. Some Bible scholars 83

believe that Meshech is Moscow the capitol of Russia and that Tubal is a reference to the city of Tobolsk which is in modern day Russia.

Meshech was a son of a Shem one of the three sons of Noah. Tubal was a son of Japheth a son of Noah.

MIGHT BE

PREPARED. Revelation 16:12.

News articles today state that the Euphrates River has dryed up for the first time in history thus fulfilling the above scripture.

The Kings of the East are China and their Asiatic Allies.” It is no secret today that China and Russia have become close Allies. However, that “union” will fall apart, and they will become bitter enemies before the return of Christ.

PERILOUS TIMES WILL COME

Perilous times have a way of leading Christians or those who claim to be Christians into a “Valley of Decision” where they will either reject Christ or remain steadfast in Him regardless of the tribulations and persecutions which they may be experiencing. Will people bow their knees to Christ, or will they bow their knees to the evil one like the new “woke generation” is doing today?

The coming days and years will reveal what is truly in the hearts of those who claim to be Christians. Will faith and courage be our strength or will fear and dread ensue when we come face to face with greater and more destructive perilous times? Those who truly know the Lord will reject any “sudden and sullen” fear when faced with perils and adversity.

As Christians we will give an account for what we believe and who we follow. We must follow the path which leads to life and godliness and do our best to help others who are in The Valley of Decision today to make the “right decision.”

There are many people in the world today who have not yet heard the Message of the Cross and/or been introduced to the love of God. Those who have been

“commissioned” to go into all the world and preach the gospel to them have not yet reached out to them yet.

Today time is short and there is a great harvest of souls to reap during the coming “ingathering.” Where they will spend eternity is the most important decision people can or will ever make.

Many are languishing in the Valley of Decision today not knowing what to do or where or who to turn to for help from the Great Storm that is engulfing the nations.

Christ and the Message of the Cross is the only hope for mankind as they languish in sin, fear, and utter despair.
