THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

THEM CLOTHED WITH ALL SORTS OF

ARMOR, EVEN A GREAT COMPANY WITH

BUCKLERS AND SHIELDS ALL OF THEM

HANDLING SWORDS: PERSIA, ETHIOPIA,

SHIELD AND HELMET: GOMER, AND HIS

BANDS THE HOUSE OF TOGMARMAH OF

THE NORTH QUARTERS, AND ALL HIS

BANDS: AND MANY PEOPLE WITH THEE.

Ezekiel 38:1-6.

The above scripture is prophecy regarding the Battle of Armageddon. Most Bible scholars believe that Gog and Magog are a reference to modern day Russia and its

“chief prince” or leader. I happen to agree.

A few Bible scholars believe that the nation of Turkey is Magog. However, modern day Turkey and Iran were part of the Persian Empire during the time of Ezekiel.

Persia is one of the “other” nations the Bible listed as 74

being with Gog the chief prince of Magog when he comes against Israel. Therefore, modern day Turkey could not have been Magog. Turkey latter became a part of the Ottoman Empire and in the early 1920s its name was changed to Turkey.

The nation of Iran is the former Persian Empire. At this writing Iran and Israel are at war with one another.

Recently, both the Russian president and the president of China have promised to help Iran with their conflict with Israel. Vladamir Putin has said that he believes it is his destiny to lead the Kings of the East to war with Isreal at the Battle of Armageddon.

Most Bible Scholars believe that the above scripture is also a reference to the Battle of Armageddon. At the Battle of Armageddon Christ will fight for Israel and defeat the Armies of Magog (Russia) and Magog’s Allies.

Like the rest of the above scripture verse the reference regarding “the blood reaching up to the horse’s bridles.”

It is a metaphor regarding war that was used in ancient Israel. It simply means that there will be a great slaughter among the enemies of Israel. The Book of Revelation is filled with many metaphors and other prophetic language.

One thousand and six hundred furlongs is approximately 180 miles. Much of the blood that will be shed at the battle of Armageddon will soak into the ground. It is an impossibility for blood to reach as high as a horse’s bridle.

The Bible tells us that the armies that march against Israel at the Battle of Armageddon will be 200 million strong. That is without a doubt the largest army ever assembled against any nation in history.

The “winepress” of God’s wrath will be “sorely visited” upon the enemies of Israel at the Battle of Armageddon.

AFTER MANY DAYS THOU SHALT BE

VISITED; IN THE LATTER DAYS THOU

SHALT COME INTO THE LAND THAT IS

BROUGHT BACK FROM THE SWORD, AND

IS GATHERED OUT OF MANY PEOPLE,

AGAINST THE MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL,

WHICH HAVE BEEN ALWAYS WASTE: BUT

IT IS BROUGHT FORTH OUT OF THE

NATIONS, AND THEY SHALL DWELL

SAFELY ALL OF THEM. THOU SHALT

ASCEND LIKE A STORM, THOU SHALL BE

LIKE A CLOUD TO COVER THE LAND,

THOU, AND ALL THY BANDS, AND MANY

PEOPLE WITH THEE. Ezekiel 38:8-9.

THE WAR IN UKRAINE

A few years ago, Vladimir Putin, the current president of Russia wrote an essay saying that Ukraine 76

was part of the historical lands of Russia. He said that Russia and Ukraine are going to be united together as one again.

Ukraine was once part of the Soviet Union. There are many Russians still living in Ukraine. One of the reasons Vladimir Putin gave for invading Ukraine was “to punish the Nazi politicians who were being led by a Jew.

His disdain for Jews is widely known to most people.

What is now the Nation of Ukraine was once called Gomer. According to Ezekiel’s prophecy Gomer is one of the nations that will attack Israel along with Magog during the Battle of Armageddon.

The territories of Meschech and Tubal that are mentioned as part of Magog in Ezekiel, Chapter 38 were once part of what is now modern-day Turkey. That may be why a few Bible Scholars believe that Turkey is Magog. However, the two territories were also a part of Southern Russia at one time.

Putin said in his essay that he would attack The Ukraine and bring the nation back under Russian sovereignty so that Bible prophesy written in Ezekiel could be fulfilled. That conflict was started a few years ago and is still ongoing.

Putin also said that he thought that it was his destiny to fulfill the prophecy in Ezekiel, Chapter 38 regarding Israel and the Battle of Armageddon. He must have control of Ukraine (Gomer) in order to fulfill that prophesy.

It is not difficult to prove that over twenty-five hundred years ago God gave Ezekiel a prophetic picture 77

of Russia’s role in “latter day” events in putting together and controlling a Confederation of nations and people against Isreal.

There is evidence that an ancient people called “Rosh”

inhabited what is now called the Nation of Russia. Russia which became the first Communist nation in the world has had many evil leaders since the Bolshevik Revolution began in 1918.

Leaders like Joseph Stalin, Lenin, Ivan the Terrible, and Vlad the Impaler were some of the most evil leaders the world and Russia has ever produced. Vladimir Putin’s name could one day be included in the list of those names.

Israel and Ukraine have a special relationship.

Ukraine has the worlds’ largest Jewish community and Ukrainian Jews make up a large portion of Israel’s population.

Ukraine is a nation that is rich in natural resources and Russia is interested in controlling those resources.

Recently Ukraine made a deal with Donald Trump the president of the United States to take control of many of those natural resources. That sounds like another reason for Putin to attack and destroy the United States of America.

Russia does not approve of Donal Trump’s future plans for Ukraine. Israel has been working with the Ukrainians to take control of their financial institutions by controlling the banking system in Ukraine like they do here in the United States through the Banking Cabal.

We can see why “Vlad” has his mind set on annexing Ukraine and destroying Israel as well as the United States. Putin’s taking control of Ukraine and destroying Israel, and the United States will not only be a plus for the Russian economy. but it will also fulfill the Bible prophesy he believes he is destined to fulfill.

Vlad must not have read the part of the prophesy in the Book of Ezekiel where Gog and his confederation of nations will fail to destroy Israel and many of them will die at the Battle of Armageddon. If he had, he might not be that interested in attacking Israel. However, the

“fulfilling” of the prophesy may be more important to him than the outcome. After all, Vlad did say that “He believed it was his destiny.” Maybe he feels that his actions in Ukraine and the Valley of Megiddo will give him a place among the great leaders of the Russian

“despots.” Only God knows.

Russia wants control of Ukraine’s natural resources for themselves. They will do anything in their power to take control of Ukraine to keep Israel and the United States from regulating them.

Vladimir Putin is playing a game he cannot and will not win in the end. His armies will ultimately be destroyed by God if he continues to attempt to fulfill his self-proclaimed destiny.

I read an article several years ago about a Russian General who believed that he was destined to lead Russia against Israel at the Battle of Armageddon. I do not remember his name, but like Putin the general was convinced it was his duty to fulfill the prophecy regarding the Battle of Armageddon.

As a matter of course most Russians are aware of the Gog and Magog prophecy regarding the Battle of Armageddon. I am sure the Russian military has already drawn up plans for the invasion of and proposed destruction of the Nation of Israel.

As a matter of course Israel is also keenly aware of the Gog and Magog prophecy, and they also have

contingency plans in place for when the Battle of Armageddon occurs. Fortunately, for Israel the “final battle” will be the Lord’s and Israel will be spared complete annihilation in the end. However, there will be a great loss of life among Israeli citizenry before Christ comes to defeat the enemies of Israel.

Is Vladimir Putin’s Confederation of Nations the same Confederation of Nations that will destroy Mystery Babylon? After all, the Beast that John saw in Revelation 13:2 had the feet of a bear. The “symbol” of Russia is a bear. Putin has threatened to “nuke” the United States just a few weeks ago if they interfered with his plans for Ukraine.

The United States and other NATO nations have been sending arms to Ukraine in order to help them defeat the

“Russian Bear. Vladimir Putin has declared that he would destroy the United States and her Allies with nuclear weapons in a pre-emptive strike if they continue to send arms to Ukraine.

Eventually Russia will destroy many cities in the United States with thermonuclear and neutron bombs.

The United States will be unable to protect Israel as they have in the past. This is the “judgment” that has been set aside for Mystery Babylon for her sins against God, 80

the “satanic slaughter” of tens of millions of innocent babies, the exploitation of homosexual and the indoctrination of her children.

Many prophets have had dreams and visions of Russia attacking the United States with nuclear weapons. Many Christians are unaware of the prophecies and are

“unprepared” both spiritually and mentally for the destruction that is coming.

If Christians do not seek the Lord and pray fervently and passionately this scenario could come to pass in the very near future. Everything is lining up the way the prophetic messages, dreams, and visons of prophets along with dreams many others in the Church have had.
