I always hear the Lord speak; if I do not hear the Lord speak, my life is at a standstill. I cannot do anything without the Holy Spirit. When I started hearing the Lord’s voice, I thought it was a cursed spirit speaking to me. I listened and asked; “Is it you Lord?” The Lord said, “Yes, it is I, Jesus”. I became excited and started seeking the Lord more and more. When I desired to seek the Lord, I became scared and doubtful. One day, a man of God visited me in my house and taught me how to hear the Lord speak. I told him; “Let us go and pray in a room in the house”. He immediately accepted and we went to pray. He told me to concentrate on the Lord so that I could be able to hear the Holy Spirit from my human spirit. I immediately felt the Lord open my mouth to speak. I tried to resist opening my mouth but the Spirit of God forced my mouth open and He prophesied words of hope! I asked the Lord, why is it that I have to speak every time I hear the Lord’s voice!? The Lord was quiet about that issue for long. I then went to men whom I knew were of God to try and understand why I had to speak out what the Lord was saying! They all said they had never experienced such a phenomenon but that they were certain that the Lord was speaking. I then started practising on how to hear the Lord speak. The Lord then told me to wait and I did not feel the Lord open my mouth for a while. I had to go and work in Rwanda, a country in eastern Africa. There I started listening to the Lord’s voice; however, I could neither understand, nor interpret what the Lord was saying and it was not as exciting as before. Later the Lord told me to go back to Uganda. When I went back, I felt the Lord open my mouth and tell me other mysteries about ancestors and the His call upon my life.
Sometime later, I received a vision during prayer at home. I saw myself in the Lord’s throne room; The Lord was wearing white robes that were not bright, with a golden crown on his head. He was writing on a scroll at an elevated desk and I was standing beside Him. I was about 6 years old and was wearing brown shorts and a shirt and was facing a class that was in session. The children who were in the class were about my age. They all wore gowns that were similar to the Lord’s and they were writing in books at their little desks facing the Lord and me. Behind the Lord’s throne on the wall was a golden seal that had the words; “Office of the Prophet”.
I later received another vision from the Lord where He showed me a golden pyramid, made of blocks of gold with similar pyramids in ranges behind it. The Lord told me; “Son, eat the blocks that make up the pyramid”. I noticed that there was a triangular hole that was created in the pyramid. Later I noticed that a whole pyramid behind the pyramid in the foreground had disappeared. I was not able to interpret what the Lord was speaking, I only obeyed. This was a season where I could not interpret about 90% of what the Lord was speaking to me. I found myself in a time of homelessness. I was told by the Lord to leave home and stay alone. I was in a place that was full of cursed spirits that would speak to me on a continuous basis. I was told by the Lord to stay there until I left at His own time. I was not able to resist what the Lord willed for me. I kept waiting for the Lord to give me a place to stay. The Lord took me away and told me to go to another place to stay where He elevated me to another level and told me to stop speaking to hear His voice. I could now hear the Lord speak without the need to open my mouth. The Lord then gave me the gift of discernment of diverse kinds of spirits that I did not have before. I had to be tested by the Lord at all stages of my journey as a prophet. The Lord’s calling upon me as a prophet came at a time when I was discouraged by the world. I had not been obedient to the Lord’s calling upon my life earlier and this time I was not going to let another opportunity pass me by. If a person is a prophet, he will have to go through a lot of trials. Why? It is a calling that is in the highest office of spiritual ministry. If a man is called to be another kind of minister, he will usually not be able to go through the trials that a prophet will go through. How does a person who is not called to be a prophet hear what the Lord’s calling upon his life is? It is most often a man’s calling to be a prophet if he is usually interested in how to hear the Lord’s voice. Have you ever asked yourself how the people who understand what the Lord is speaking hear? They are most often not able to differentiate whether they are speaking by the power of the Holy Ghost or by their own spirit. If such a man decides to speak to people that are in a congregation, he may ask himself; where are the words coming from!? The words are always from the Spirit. If he is a person who has been trained by the Holy Spirit, he will know where the words are from. If he is trained by another prophet, he will not be able to know. How can a man be trained by the Holy Spirit? That is what we will learn later in this book.
At that time I was told by the Lord to stop opening my mouth to hear what He was speaking, I was discouraged because I had gotten used to hear the Lord speak clearly in that particular way. I had to obey even without understanding. Later, I started hearing the Lord speak from my own human spirit without the need to open my mouth. It is such an exciting moment for anyone to hear the Lord speak. The words were as clear as you would have a man speak to you; and we were able to have lengthy discussions. If you are a person who is desirous of hearing the Lord speak, go and start on your own journey. I have been able to grow in my own human spirit to the extent that I can hear what the Lord speaking without the need to stay in a quiet place. Initially, I had to always withdraw to hear the Lord speak, However, I now do not need to withdraw to a quiet place to ask the Lord about an issue at that particular time. At that time, I was unable to understand why the Lord had told me not to withdraw from people to hear Him speak. The Lord told me to obey Him. When I obeyed, it became easier for me to hear the Lord speak with even more clarity. Have you ever heard the Lord speak from your human spirit? This is a way that seems extremely difficult for most people; however, you will not be deceived if you decide to train your human spirit to listen to the Holy Spirit. How can you train your human spirit to listen to the Holy Spirit? If you have been in the Lord’s presence, you will have an opportunity to be trained by the Holy Spirit on how to nurture your human spirit. Your soul is supposed to be subject to your human spirit. If your soul is not subordinate to your human spirit, you will not hear the Lord speak through the Holy Spirit. If you are being trained by the Holy Spirit, He will make sure your soul submits to your human spirit. How does the Holy Spirit nurture your human spirit? When you are in training by the Holy Spirit, you will be guided on how to ensure that your soul is under the authority of your human spirit. The Lord will use your obedience to Him to grow your human spirit; the more you obey Him, the faster your human spirit will grow. How can a man receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? You can ask the Lord and receive, however, you need to learn how to hear the Lord speak His will for your life before you concentrate on asking. If you ask amiss of the Lord’s will, you will not receive. When people ask and they do not receive, they think the Lord has not heard. The Lord is not dead nor are His ears dull. If you are not in his will, you will not receive what you are asking for! Have you ever been to a place where the people are always asking but not receiving? That is an indication that there is something amiss. If you go to a prayerful congregation and find them in the practice of asking the Lord for every small thing, then you will know that they are not in the Lord’s will. If you are a pastor and you are not able to receive what you ask for from the Lord. It is an indication that you or your church are not in the Lord’s will. I have been to congregations where I have seen people cry out to the Lord in pain and they still do not ever receive!
I have seen a lot of hurt in people who try to do the Lord’s work without the Lord’s will. If you desire to do the Lord’s work, you need to know His will. How? By hearing the Lord speak. How are some ministers able to start on a project without the project manager or project design!? If you are a minister, you need to learn how to hear the Lord speak before you embark on any type of ministry. Do not attempt to try to do anything that you consider spiritual. The Lord will always try to admonish you if you are lax in doing His will. If you continue being lax, the Lord will be grieved! When the Lord is grieved, He will not continue warning you. You will start doing the enemy’s will even if you may call it the Lord’s will. I have been to a church to warn the pastor to hear the Lord’s voice. He asked that I immediately leave his premises and had even ordered his own body guards to throw me out. If you are such a minister, you are not in the Lord’s will! He needed to hear what the Lord wanted to say to him through a prophet. This is a hopeless endeavour for such a man who calls himself a minister of God. This minister couldn’t receive the message that the Lord had sent a prophet with. If he could hear the Lord speak himself, he would have been able to receive a prophet. However, he is deaf, he cannot hear the Lord speak. He is doing the enemy’s will under the enemy’s instructions. If he was a minister of God, then he would have known that the Lord can send him His messenger; that is what a prophet’s role is. Have you ever sent away a prophet? If you have, then you have a curse upon you from the Lord. Why? That is what the Lord says! If you are unable to hear the Lord speak, then do not start a ministry. It will be a place of misery for you and for the people that you are leading to hell. They are being lied to by the enemy. All of them are expecting that the minister is a man of God, and they expect that he is able to hear the Lord speak! How then do such ministers continue? They are proud and are not willing to lose their integrity at the time they are exposed. If a minister is not doing the Lord’s will and the congregation hears of such a thing, they will scatter! This is the Lord’s will for such a minister and his congregation. If they stay in that congregation, it will lead them to death. If they are scattered by the Lord, they will find Him. If the Lord is God, they will have to go and seek Him earnestly to find life. I have been able to see what it means for a man to labour in vain. This disobedience will only lead to death. If a minister of God is able to refuse to listen to a prophet of God then that man is a minister of the enemy. How will you know if you are in a congregation where the Lord is God? You need to go and seek the Lord’s voice. There is seldom any other way! If you are going to learn what the Lord is saying, you need to hear Him speak.
I have been to a congregation where there were all sorts of cursed spirits mimicking many ministers who are caught up in sin. These cursed spirits possess people to speak out what sin that minister is involved in. Initially, I thought that was the power of the Holy Ghost. After a while, I was told by the Holy Spirit to leave that congregation at once. I obeyed but did not know why the Lord had told me to leave. Later I learnt from the Lord that it was a shrine of cursed spirits and not a church. I was dumbfounded! Why? They were always quoting the scriptures with accuracy and I thought that was what the Lord wanted! If you find a congregation where there are people who quote the word accurately, know that the enemy is even better than you in quoting scripture. Do not let the enemy deceive you from scripture. If you have the Holy Spirit, you have the law of God in your heart. You do not need to cram the scriptures like a pagan! If you are wondering, isn’t this the will of God? The answer is no! The Lord is not going to tell you to recite scriptures for you to live! You need to have understanding as to why some people are deceived to quote scripture meticulously. If you are deceived to quote scripture meticulously, you need to know why the law is a curse. If you are in the curse of the law, you will need the Lord who became a curse for you to take away that curse of the law from you. This where most people are holed up! They are in the pit that they continuously deepen with the enemy as their God. If you are in such a pit, the Lord is able to take you out of it. He is the One you need at this time.
