The author joined the military in December 1989, putting himself through college and earning a BA, MA, and credits towards a PhD in the process. He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and has served in the Military at assignments worldwide. He currently lives with his wife and son at a foreign posting while continuing to serve in the US Military.
