ABOMINABLE PRACTICES
Tell me my
fortune,
and I'll
laugh
no matter
how tight
the turban
and sleepy
your smile.
My future
is a dotted
path
and worn-
down
feet.
My future
is God's
breath
and the
unknowing
known
of flint
and rock,
sparking
light
for others
if not
myself.
