Directionless

When the moon drops,

I think we can

Find ourselves

Ourselves

That only we

Can see....

As the moon sets

We feel the loneliness

Creeping

Creeping....

As the sun grips us

Confused,

We walk

Through the streets

Where the houses

Pass on the left and the right

The right where light shines

The left where a breeze

Blows leaves

Towards us

Across the empty world

And then we fall

Into the view

From our windows

Into the rising sun

That greets us

From out past

It smiles

And seems to

Remember us

As we watch it

Through our windows

But everything fades....
