Hitting a Snag

His head hit a snag in the wire

It ripped off and spit obnoxious fire

Into what it would dare

Try to surround

But why?

Hadn’t the fire met the ice

And they had enough

Of each other

Without a fence to propel

Through a lively doomsday farce?

The fire decided the ice was crap

It chased lotsa frozen water around

In a circle until it crashed, from being too hot

The ice turned into a volcano mutant butterfly,

And spread its larvae around in

The young family’s backyard

Not knowing where to go, they realized

This is NOT GOOD

The family knew they would get eaten by

The larvae as their FIRST newborn meals

They did not want butterfly babies

To get super strong off of their precious meat

The idea came to them with no thinking

Needed beforehand

They would eat the larvae and spit

The chewed up pieces

Into the ground below

That way larvae couldn’t re-grow

From the magical force-field

That fed off their life energy

Below

Oh, wit

The newborns couldn’t cry

It would be no fair if they couldn’t see

Their very first man-made street

A street with the action upon it,

That in turn

Would let them realize

Their own life

Could be useless-

Or apparent-

To only their heart and souls

A car knows no bounds

In becoming an

Innocent killing machine

They would need to act fast

VROOM VROOM

One of them was crushed and decimated

VROOM VROOM

The family was trying to protect the larvae

From their own doom

VROOM VROOM

The family had to open their mouths wide

To bite the dust
VROOM VROOM

Larvae were screaming

Like loose steam

Their sounds echoed into the air

Like a metal frying pan,

Reflecting sounds

Of hardship and strife

The innocent ramming machines

Continued on

With their lives of ignorance

Until they were demolished and broken down

Into seizuring red, orange crabs
