Building Re-Formation
He runs
Towards the site
Of the apartment complexes
Abandoned and desolate,
Much like he was,
But now revived and free
He runs to see the empty balconies,
The empty gardens hanging over the sides
He sees the buildings stand like a fortress
And a girl wanders up the steps
To the roof of one
At the last second....
He begins to emerge
From the gravel on the ground,
The gravel falling off his back,
And then stands to face everything
As the girl observers
Overhead from the roof
Then he emerges, brand new,
The structures around him covered in gravel
But he is reborn,
Free of gravel,
And looking at the girl
