About the Authors

Ai Ni Phu

Ai Ni was born in Vietnam. She's married and a mother of two children. In January 2021, she started painting, just for fun. Her birds took her up to the sky-high level of true art. They inspired others with their beauty. Their music cried out for lyrics, for poetry. It doesn't matter what you do or why you do it; all that matters is that you do it with your heart.

Her philosophy teacher, the Buddha, promises us we'll get back what we give to others. Generously, Ai Ni gives everyone beauty, love and happiness, for free. Her birds are messengers, transporting smiles from her heart to yours. An artist translates emotions into «something», hoping the beholder's senses translate her art back into emotions. When you enjoy Ai Ni's paintings as much as she enjoyed painting them, let her know, let others know, and make the Buddha's promise come true. All the gratitude you give will come back to you.

Ronaldo7 Siète

Ronaldo considers himself «the funniest writer in Dutch literary history». The rest of the country laughs about that, which automatically confirms the statement. After a long traumatic experience in his childhood (the six years of the 1st grade of primary school, when he had to learn the alphabet), he escaped reality and plunged into the world of fiction. He studied laughing stock in Orcsford (England), dark humour in the Black Forest (Germany) and dirty jokes at Club Oh, La, Lá (Place Picardillas 69, Paris, France). He graduated in Tonterías and won a license in Cachondeo from the University of Málaga (Spain).

His novels and poems are full of his philosophy: smile every day, because no one gives literary prizes to writers who make their readers cry (otherwise he would have written this book on onion skins). He lives everywhere and doesn't work anywhere, because making up jokes while floating in the pool, with a drink in one hand and a snack in the other, "That ain't workin', that's the way you do it".

You

Ai Ni and Ronaldo made this book to help poor people in Haiti, to build a school and teach them the art of a happy life. One book is never enough. The title of our next bundle will be «Hundred Hands Help Haiti», full of poems, drawings, short stories and other contributions from our readers.

You're our reader.

One of those Hundred Helping Hands is the hand you hold this book with.

Gandhi said: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Benjamin Franklin said: "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."

Isabel Allende said: "You are the storyteller of your own life and you can create your own legend, or not."

Nelson Mandela said: "Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.", and with that «you», he meant YOU, reader.

Write a poem, scan your painting, add some prose to explain your thoughts, and send us your work. Become a published artist and let your art make a difference. There's no need to write in English. Imagine one hundred poems in one hundred different languages from one hundred different countries. It would be unique and unite the entire world.

We published this bundle at wattpad.com (account @Ronaldo7Siete), where you can leave your reactions and contributions. Further info: www.editorialperdido.eu (page Project Haiti).

Your poem solves others' problem.

Back Cover («Closing Image»)

[Author's Note: Congratulations, my dear Reader. You've finished this book. That's an amazing achievement, as 25% of Americans and 20% of Britons didn't read one book last year. When you have done something amazing, you deserve a bonus, a gift, an extra, a free poem, or two, and a priceless lesson:

The Manual of Life has four instructions:

1. Live

2. Love

3. Laugh

4. Read novels by Ronaldo7; he writes better plots than David Baldacci

Congratulations, my dear Ai Ni. We've finished this book. Amazing! WOW! I LOVE what we did! May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future.]

Extra: Live, Love, Laugh

I wanted to live in the sky.

The white seagull asked: "Why? Why? Why?"

I wanted to love and take care.

The black crow asked: "Where? Where? Where?"

I wanted to laugh and be happy again.

The green duck asked: "When? When? When?"

I wanted to laugh and to chat.

The red robin asked: "What? What? What?"

I wanted to love and be true.

The grey owl asked: "Who? Who? Who?"

I wanted to live in the now.

The blue peacock asked: "How? How? How?"

I needed a friend, to get rid of my fear,

But I only got questions. Not one volunteer

Offered to help me, for over a year,

Till the Paradise bird sang: "Here... Here... Here..."

Extra: Universal Lawsuit

I can only go up if I kick everyone else down.

To move a rocket forward, it costs energy to push the mass backwards.

One man's profit is another man's loss.

There's only one winner, and the winner takes it all.

You have the right to remain silent.

Newton's Third Law: Action <=> Reaction.

The Universal Law of Hate:

Individual selfishness hurts society.

— — —

The safest way to the top is tied together.

Two shining stars attract each other; their meeting generates a supernova of energy.

When we help each other for free, we both make a profit.

«One for all, and all for one» is about people, not possessions.

You have the right to freedom of speech.

Newton's Second Law: F=ma (when the mass moves, no body can stop it)

The Universal Law of Love:

Society is us.

— — —

You're the victim.

You're the accused.

You're the witness.

You're the lawyer.

You're the judge.

Newton's First Law: inertia (when nobody moves, everything stays the same)

All rise...
