Pain and anger
Like rolling thunder
Shakes the soul and heart
Leaves fiery and daunting darts
Anguish refuses to leave any traces of hopeful refuge
From the most tragic of storms recluse
Oh how the piercing heart splatters blood into the dark, and larking skies
Drenching it with mystery and disguise
Anger turns to resentment
Pain turns into torment
Forgiveness crawls on its knees
Begging the higher power to help let it go with ease
While becoming hopeful, joyous, and free
No more self-centered fear
Only an occasional fallen tear
Replaced with an unshakable faith
With a feeling of dignity and grace
Pray for the light to carry on
Let us rejoice with song
Praising the higher power for a real reason to carry on
By spreading love to on another with no more pain and anger
The heart and soul is finally set free, with no more danger
To allow pain and anger to control one’s life
The higher power has come to help make things right
