e Perfect Moment
You never just live “the perfect moment.”
You make “the perfect moment.”
Weather in the school cafeteria
or in the bed of a truck,
putting aloe vera on your finger burn
Or even lying in a small cot looking up
at my glow-in-the-dark stars.
We could have made the “perfect moment.”
We should have made our “perfect moment.”
