Part 1
Well, it's not about bragging or showing off; rather, when it comes to creating oil paintings or other artworks, I was a professional by my own choice—I was a pro.
Indeed, I developed a distinctive style in my drawings, and the outcomes were truly impressive.
On the day I began sketching three Fairies, I settled into a chair within the treehouse, positioned at my desk, to contemplate and generate ideas about the Fairies' appearances.
So, I dedicated numerous hours to thinking and sketching, discarding the unsuccessful attempts, until I ultimately captured the Fairies just as I envisioned them.
Yes! I had my own unique style, of course. So, I started drawing three Fairies two days after I constructed the treehouse, while my parents were in Jamaica. And it's worth noting that my parents were still in Jamaica and had not yet returned to Italy.
Additionally, I was only 17 years old when I drew the three Fairies. That afternoon, precisely at 3 PM, I started outlining the Fairies' body shapes, clothing colors, and their unique traits, and I continued until I completed the drawings by evening.
“Alright, what shall I do this afternoon?” I pondered, considering the concept of my drawing.
My thoughts then turned to Spiritual Beings known as Fairies. “Fairies, right?”
“What if I draw Fairies?” I repeatedly. “Fairies.”
“But how many should I include?” I mused, contemplating the number. “Perhaps three Fairies?”
“Yes, that’s it!” I exclaimed, feeling inspired. “Okay, let me illustrate three Fairies, each with their distinct traits,” I declared.
While it was true that I intended to depict three Fairies, I also needed to consider the Land they would inhabit in the artwork.
Thus, I contemplated designing a World—or a Land—for them to reside in.
“And what about the Land where the three Fairies will dwell?”
“How about I create a World or Land for them?” I suggested it to myself.
Subsequently, I crafted a Land for the three Fairies to inhabit in the drawing, naming it WerleyadiaLand. “Oh, I’ve come up with a name!”
“What do you think of WerleyadiaLand?”
“Why not? I really like it!”
“WerleyadiaLand will be the name of a forest circle filled with vibrant trees and bushes.”
“And of course, the Magical Tree will be situated in WerleyadiaLand!”
“What a fantastic idea!” I responded.
