Part 5

The final truth I discovered about the forest throughout my journey was that a Rainbow consistently manifested in the center of the circle surrounding the Magic Tree. This Rainbow, however, was more elusive than Werleyadia, as it only physically appeared on rare occasions—an opportunity to be witnessed and to radiate its beauty.

In contrast, Werleyadia was perpetually available; she merely chooses who and what is worthy of her sight.

Indeed, the Rainbow was breathtaking, resembling Heaven on Earth. So, it was so magnificent that this Rainbow was vibrant and luminous, possessing the ability to enchant anyone who beheld it.

Part 6

Well, the first time I encountered the rare Rainbow was on a day when I felt quite unhappy.

On that day, I showcased a project of mine, a painting I had completed as part of an assignment given by my schoolteacher to all students. But I chose to present my own painting. And at that young age, it was my first experience of seeing such a shining Rainbow in the midst of the forest. During class that day, the teacher required each student in the class to present their chosen project, which was a wonderful experience for everyone, except for me.

When it was my turn to present, I felt a surge of happiness, but I regretted not remaining seated due to the embarrassment I was about to endure.

“Ley, what about you?”

“What about your project?”

“Can you present your project to us?” My teacher prompted me as I was called to stand in front of the class. “My turn?”

“Alright!”

“Thank you!” I replied to my teacher and stood before my classmates. “What do you have to show me and your fellow students?" My teacher inquired.

I then revealed my painting, showcasing a World I had created. Yes, I created a World?

Of course? I built Worlds?

“Good morning class!”

“Today, I would like to present my project, which is a painting of a World I imagined,” I announced. Strangely enough, one of the students threw a piece of paper at me and called me a loser.

“What a loser!” One student remarked while tossing the paper. This prompted laughter from the other students. But if that student had been aware, perhaps things would have been different.

Had he understood the impact of his actions on me back then, he might not have treated me so poorly.

Was I upset?

Absolutely, I was upset, yet I chose not to respond—I simply overlooked the individual who labeled me a loser. One thing is certain: those who are insecure often seek out peers, as they feel threatened and attempt to drag others down to their level. Back then, it appeared that those individuals were oblivious to their own shortcomings—they consistently tried to undermine others. “Be quiet! Let him finish!” The teacher instructed the class. “I built this World? The world I am presenting to you is inhabited by mysterious Beings,” I continued with my presentation. However, another student threw another sheet of paper at me, which infuriated me, leading me to leave the classroom. “Alright, that's enough!”

“I'm out of here!”

“Goodbye class!” I said to the teacher and my classmates before exiting the room.

“But Ley?”

“Where are you going?”

“Wait!” My teacher asked me while she begged me to not leave. Was it my fault?

Absolutely not!

Therefore, I had to leave class and wander around before heading home. As I walked, I found myself in the forest, feeling alone and quite angry, moving aimlessly.

Once I reached the center of the forest, I spotted the Rainbow—so radiant.

It was indeed the first time I had seen the Rainbow before encountering Werleyadia, the Spirit of the forest. “Wow! A Rainbow!”

“This is a Rainbow!”

“That’s beautiful!”

“The Nature is beautiful! I love the Nature!”

“Thank you, my Heavenly God!”

“In the heart of the forest, right next to the Magical Tree," I exclaimed loudly as I rushed towards it to touch it.

The IX Chapter

The Magical Tree

Part 1

In a World where invisible Beings may exist, only visible in dreams; it can be challenging for others to accept when you share your experiences of being observed and surrounded. How would you respond if I told you I encountered the Spirit that governs the forest again?

As peculiar as it may sound, it is indeed true. Well, this was the same Spirit that planted the Magic Tree at the center of the forest circle.

How did I come to this realization?

To clarify, it was the day before I constructed a small treehouse on a branch of the Magical Tree that I met with Werleyadia once more, face to face.

Who?

What?

Werleyadia, do you ask?

Ha! I’m certain you remember Werleyadia, the Spirit who owned and ruled the forest, of course.

Well, during my childhood, I often roamed the forest, encountered the forest Spirit and uncovering beautiful wonders. However, it wasn't until I turned 17 that I discovered how the Magical Tree thrived in the heart of the forest.

So, my second encounter with Werleyadia occurred during another visit to the beloved Magical Tree, where I cherished taking a breath beneath its branches.

A pleasant, cool breeze was blowing, causing the leaves of the trees to tremble as if they were dancing.

And the bushes on the ground also shook, as if they were responding to the lovely music of the wind and the sound of the river nearby. Indeed, the sound of the River and flowing water resembles the rhythm of drums in a musical piece.

Truly, the Nature was magnificent. We ought to express our gratitude to God for the wonderful creations. On that day, my father was away from the town, exploring another Continent with his crew, while my mother was busy teaching dance classes to other children.

To be completely honest, my mother was not only a dancer but later became a teacher as well.

Upon arriving by the Magical Tree on my horse, I heard Werleyadia's voice.

“Werleyadia?”

“I know it’s you!”

“Please, reveal yourself!”

“Where are you?” I called out, scanning my surroundings for the source of laughter.

“How do you know it was me?” Werleyadia responded as she appeared behind me near the Magic Tree. The moment I heard her voice from behind; I turned to face her.

“Are you frightened?”

“Why do you look so scared?” She asked me while standing in front of the Magic Tree.

“No, I’m not scared; I was merely trying to discover your location.”

“What brings you here?” I asked. “What do you mean?”

“Are you certain that I own and rule the forest?”

“Of course, I am aware when people visit because I am always watching over, whether visible or invisible,” she explained as she approached me. Even my horse, Bobo, who was there, noticed her coming closer and let out a laugh.

“You never mentioned that your horse could laugh.”

“So, what brought you here?” She added. “Were you trailing me until I arrived?” I inquired. “No, I was bathing in my River when I noticed you approaching.” She responded.

“And you?”

“What made you come here?” She asked. Then I also remember it was after assisting my mother with various tasks around the house, I chose to take a break beneath the Magic Tree. “Could you tell me why you posed that question?” I responded to her. “Your horse?”

“Is it male or female?”

“Did your horse notice me?” She inquired while gently stroking the horse's head.

“Since Bobo is laughing, I believe it saw you!” I replied. “You are the Spirit of the forest, right?”

“Can anything see you?” I asked her. “If I desire that, it is indeed possible,” she responded. “Otherwise, it may not be feasible for animals to see me, alright?” She said again.

“Did you bathe in the River?” I questioned her. But at that moment, we both moved closer to the River and admired the stunning blue water.

“Yes! Absolutely!”

“Probably just for fun, and I enjoyed it!” She responded.

Part 2

A few minutes later, I asked Werleyadia further questions about the Magic Tree.

“I realize you won't be here for long, but may I ask you some questions?” I said to her.

“Of course?”

“What is it?”

“Could you share your questions with me?” She replied and smiled. “Can you explain how the Magic Tree got there?” I asked her. “Could you explain how the Magic Tree came to be in the heart of the forest?” I asked Werleyadia once more. “Long ago, in a distant part of the Planet, my Species thrived in our Land until a flood swept through, forcing us to flee to various locations.”

“I was younger then, and my family was scattered by the flood, each taking a different route.”

“I attempted to follow them, but I was unable to do so. Consequently, I had to choose another path that led me to the Continent where Italy is situated.”

“As I was flying, I spotted a forest and fell right in the center of it,” she responded.

“Incredible! I had no idea there were other parts on Earth!” I remarked. “Indeed, there are other Regions inhabited by different Species, including mine, Fairies, and others,” she explained. “I've heard many stories about Fairies, but I've never encountered one myself,” I said.

“Are you a Fairy—perhaps a tall one?” I asked.

“Dude! Really!”

“No! I am not!”

“But may I continue my explanation of how the Magic Tree came to be?" She replied.

“Sure! Please go on!’ I encouraged. “When I fell into the forest, precisely where we are now, I spent countless hours lying on a rock, weeping.”

“After several months, I resolved to remain there.”

“I claimed and governed the forest until one day, I planted a Magic Seed in the center, which grew into the Magic Tree.”

“I decreed that no one should approach or touch the Magic Tree,” she recounted.

“Okay.”

“But your family, and the others?”

“Where are they now?”

“Did they come here?” I asked her.

“Never heard from them since I got here!” She responded. “That's astonishing!”

“But what about the River?” I asked her again. “Was the River here before you came here?” I added. “The River existed, but it was different back then.”

“So, I reshaped the center of the forest by cutting down trees to create a circle, allowing the trees to flourish and arrange the River as a natural basin for my bathing,” she explained. “Wow!”

“You accomplished all of this?”

“And you did it all alone?”

“Thank you for sharing these details with me!” I told her.

Part 3

Indeed, as she elaborated on the details of the Magic Tree, she picked up a piece of wood and sketched a design on the water to illustrate its appearance.

And the design she created appeared so lifelike that it felt as though I was transported back to the moment when all of this occurred. “May I ask you two final questions before you leave?” I inquired. “Of course.” She responded. “Why not?” She added.

“What made you cry when you fell there?” I asked her. “And where did you discover the Magical Seed?” I also asked her the second question.

“To answer your first question, I was crying when I fell because I felt alone—without family, without my Species,” she explained. “As for the Magical Seed, it originated from the Land of my Species, where everything that grows is enchanted.” She added. “Wow! A Land filled with colorful and sandy Clouds right?” I spoke. “You got it!” She responded.

“Okay.”

“I understand now.”

“But thank you for clarifying!” I told her to answer my questions. Moments later, she flew away and vanished as usual while I remained seated by the River.

The distinction between the Magical Tree and the other trees lies in the fact that the leaves of the Magic Tree glowed with vibrant colors. This difference was also hard to overlook, of course.
