Part 2
A few minutes later, I found myself dining with them. This afternoon, while enjoying my meal, I engaged them in a conversation about the theater.
“There's something I wish to share with you,” I informed them. “What is it?” Honeycherley inquired. “Is it good news or bad news?” Sweetydaline also asked me. “Ladies, please! Let him share what he has to say!” Webtayela encouraged them to let me finish talking. “Exactly! Let him speak!” Stephayella added her support. “Okay? Guess what?”, “I was considering taking all of you ladies to the theater,” I proposed, seeking their opinions. “Wow! Are you all hearing what Ley just said?”
“He is inviting us to the theater!” Honeycherley exclaimed. “Oh! You are keeping your promise!” Sweetydaline chimed in. “But Ley?”
“Unplanned?”
“And when?” Stephayella asked me. “What are you referring to?” I asked Stephayella. “She is likely concerned about the people who will see me and my sisters!”
“The Fairies!” Webtayela responded to me, then turned to Stephayella. “You read my mind! That's exactly what I meant!”
“What if people see the Fairies?”
“What do you think will happen?” Stephayella replied to Webtayela, then directed her question to me.
“It's easy to manage, alright?”
“What if I tell everyone that the Fairies are just dolls with batteries?” I responded to Stephayella.
Suddenly, Stephayella and the three Fairies burst into laughter. “So, when are we going to the theater?”
“You haven't answered that question yet!” Stephayella pressed me again. “How about later?”
“Will you all be busy this evening?” I asked. “This evening works well!”
“Why not?” The three Fairies replied in succession. “Me too!” Stephayella added.
“Okay! That’s Fantastic!”
“And thank you for the dinner!”
“I bet you all tasted as delightful as the meal,” I remarked as soon as I finished eating.
“You are welcome, but don't even think about it!” Stephayella and the three Fairies responded.
