Liam in leading, going inside the castle, then just on the inside seeing a symbol of a red cross etched on the wall. “Connor?”

Connor seeing the symbol. Stood still in retrospect.

Liam, questioned. “He is still here?”

Connor, in knowledge. ”Yes. It is the symbol of the Templar. He is here hiding within these walls.”

Liam, satisfied with answer. “Stay together everyone. We never know what could be lurking around the corner.” Gripping his sword with his hand.

Liam, with Tauna, Trey, Crouse leading the way down the corridor. Connor and Bren, with each step they take, their walk kept steadfast.

All seeing a door slowly began to open, all stopped and stood, giving a brief look at each other in question. Then moving forward toward the door, they proceeded onward, as Liam, placing his hand upon the door, ever so slowly opening to see what is beyond the doorway.

Suddenly, The Templar came forth then stood in his long cloak about to strike.

Liam, being on guard, lift his sword in protection.

The Templar, seeing Liam, in alert, sharply retracted his sword from him, placing his word back into his scabbard.

Liam, retracting his sword from the Templar!

After a moment. Everyone staying calm.

Liam reasserting his sword into his scabbard. “Templar McCalare. Why did you leave your cloak behind? “

The Templar, divulged. “It was the doings of The Black Knight. He came looking for us. The only means to set him off from our trail was to hang my cloak upon the wall to fool him. But I doubt it will last. He will surely be coming back for what he is after. And with an army if needed.”

Liam, indented his questionable brows. “And that is?”

The Templar answered. “To take me into prison then to take over the castle in order to sit upon the throne in declaring the castle for himself. We must prepare for battle.”

Liam, satisfied with answer. “We will have to have discussion of possible embattlement. We will give you word of answer soon. Until then, we will be back to check on you.”

The Templar stood in agreement. ”I will be waiting for your answers.” Liam, gave his tipping head of respect to him, as they proceeded to leave back treading down the corridor…

Suddenly an eruption of explosion spewed out toward them, blasted them off their feet, landing on their front, sides and backs?

Liam, in blindsided jarring, looked straight at Trey.

Trey, looking at Liam.

Liam, Connor, Crouse, Trey looking at each other in astoundment.

Liam, getting back on his feet, grasps Tauna’s arm helping her up. “You ok love!”

Tauna, nods yes.

The Templar rushed back to them. “Are you alright!?” Helping the others up.

Inspector Crouse, getting back up, readjusting his trench coat. “It seems we are not welcomed here.“

Liam, in furious retribution. Taking his hands, wipes off the dust from each side of his trench coat’s arm sleeves. “Right. The bloody bastard has just given us a forewarning. I say we should give him something so hard core, it will blow him right out of the bloody water! We Will be back.”

They carried onward back to chivalry chapel.

Back at the Chivalry Chapel’s Great Hall….

Trey coming into the room. Sat next to his wife Lauren.”News came back, some commoners was pillaged by The Black Knight’s orders.

Tauna, sitting next to Liam. Unsettled in her thoughts. “And who were his henchmen?”

Trey trying to find an answer in his own mind. “It is not known.”

Tauna, in regret. “This is all my fault. This wouldn’t have happened if I just accepted the offer as queen!”

Liam, sighed. “And how would you or anyone know of uncertain events about to unravel? Nobody knows.”

Bren, unsettled. ”I’m not sure if I like the idea of embattlement.”

Tauna, sat next to her. “I agree. There must be some other way to deter this way of war.”

Pastor Connor, “As Pastor I do not condone such violence if it is not warranted. But even in times of a necessary evil, like the walls of Jericho falling could be accomplished for our day.”

Inspector Crouse sat direct with his wife Elise’s view sighed. “I just don’t see another way out of this.”

Trey getting up from his chair, paced back and forth, then stood up against the wall with folded arms and in deep thought.

Liam, sat adamant. “That’s because we all know the answer. And that is, to prepare for this battle. As usual, I will lead any man to join and inform the others. ”

Tauna turned to him with

questionable face. “ Sir Liam. My husband. I really don’t think this is warranted.”

Liam turned to her In adamant respect.“ Lady Tauna, My wife. Do you see any other way?”

Both staring at each other in silence as though trying reach a settlement. Connor and Bren, looked at each other, but not speak a word.

Crouse and Elise kept to themselves reserved.

Trey, looking at both of them. “Oh, now we speak in titles, are we?”

Liam, keeping his steadfast eyes on Tauna.” Right. I shall see you all at your stations. This meeting is adjourned.”

Tauna’s mouth tightened in

resentment as she turned from him looking down.

All rise from their chairs going to their duties.

Mariam observing in sadness.

Sir William, goes to him. “Son, do not allow this disagreement between you and your wife destroy your marriage. As I know too well.”

Liam, placing his hand unto his father’s shoulder. “ Don’t worry Father. She’s still my life’s breath.”
