In the sanctuary, ten monks stood in line next to the alter. In their chanting melody, the peaceful surrounding them in their prayers to God, as the aura of burning tapered candles enmeshed with incense fill the atmosphere as to set the stage for ambush.

Liam, Trey, Inspector Crouse, Sir William, standing behind each column hiding in the shadows, periodically giving glances to each other, then Liam, leading the way, giving each other hand signals, waiting for a sign of the Black Knight.

As the sound of coming hard boots coming closer to them, as the sound of the Black Knight getting louder became present entering into the room, stood to see the monks in prayerful worship. His arrogant dark face glared of such brutality in his indignity.

Liam, holding Tauna closer to himself, gripping the hilt of his sword a little tighter, in full intensity, about to give his brother the signal to move forward in surprise attack.

Trey, giving back his signal of readiness in same way.

Then, suddenly nine year old William came running into the room, stopped in front of the tall dark masked man. As the Black Knight stood staring hovering over him but yielded.

Liam and Tauna seeing their grandson, Liam, seeing the Black Knight with no intention of tyranny towards their grandson, while not to give out their hidden agenda, waits to see the outcome.

Tauna, seeing this, giving out a gasp, then about to scream out for him, as Liam, quickly taking his hand to cover up her mouth to keep her quiet, while gripping her tighter pulling her back to himself holding her down preventing her to intervene, while giving Trey, Sir William and Crouse hand signals to stay the course, as they both stood continuing to wait to see the outcome.

The monks stood, seeing the boy, went quiet.

Liam, holding Tauna with care but remained quiet. A moment of time passing by while Liam, Trey. Sir William, Crouse giving a long viewing at each other, not moving from their position.

Then William, slowly taking back ward steps, crept backing off.

Devon and Breyen appearing in back of him, both with widen eyes, Devon, gripping his sword, gestured Breyen to stay, then as he quickly goes to their son, quickly snatching him, grabbing Breyen’s hand as Devon swiftly leads his families away in hiding.

The monks, seeing the opportunity, as they pull back their long black cloaks revealing their red cross emblem, extracting their swords, going after the Black Knight.

The Black Knight, extracting his sword at them, as the clashing between the Black Knight and The Templars striking their swords together as the Black Knight, thrashing them down one by one, injuring each one as they fell to the floor but with only one Templar left as the grand master stood at arms.

Liam, gestured his hand to Tauna,’to stay here’! Leading the way, as Liam, Trey, Inspector Crouse and Sir William came out from their hiding, extracting their swords at The Black Knight. The Black Knight, seeing them, looking straight at Liam. In harsh wry mouth, then turned away carefully looking around as to search for where to roam to in his next strategic plans, quickly continues onward.

The Templars helping each other to their feet. The grand master standing next to Liam and Trey. Awaiting for their next challenged plight.
