Jack stood in the corridor leaned up against the wall.
Tauna, upon doing her duties of Lady of the chapel about to bypass him.
Jack, following her with his eyes. ”Tauna. It will be a pleasure to serve beside you in these castle walls. I shall be of great service to you.”
Tauna, giving him an unsavory look. “You should be careful of making empty statements you do not know of. Don’t you have something better to do than to loiter the corridor.”
Tauna continued onward.
Jack stood without remorse watching her leave.
