Chapter 30

The Diaz-Davidson Organization Does A Fundraiser

It is one week later, 4:00 Saturday afternoon. The Diaz-Davidson Organization is having a fundraising at the stadium. The stadium is packed full of people. There are around several thousand people at the stadium. Some people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with horror fonts that say 'THE SECOND PERSONALITY' while other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with horror fonts that say 'THE THIRD PERSONALITY'.

Other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with horror fonts that say 'THE NINJA PERSONALITY' while other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with horror fonts that say 'THE LONE WARRIOR PERSONALITY'. Some people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with regular fonts that say 'THE ORIGINAL PERSONALITY' while other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with regular fonts that say 'THE ORIGINAL'.

Some people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with drawings and paintings of Diane D's physical body lying on the psychiatrist couch wrapped in chains and chained to the psychiatrist couch with her eyes closed and hands folded with shackles on her feet. Other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with drawings and paintings of Diane D's physical body levitating over a stage. Some people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with drawings and paintings of Diane D's third personality breaking loose from chains breaking the chains loose from a psychiatrist couch. Other people in the crowd are wearing T-shirts with drawings and paintings of Diane D's third personality holding a psychiatrist couch high up in the air as she spins her entire body around with the attached chains hanging from her body swirling around with her body as her frightened family and injured authority figures watch in horror.

A white woman in the crowd around her mid-fifties approaches some of the people wearing the T-shirts and says, "Excuse me." The people wearing the T-shirts turn to the woman as she says to them, "I just want to ask you, where did you all get these T-shirts from? Is Diane D's family selling these T-shirts?"

"No her family is not selling these T-shirts," a young white male in the crowd says.

"Some guys up the street are selling these T-Shirts."

"Some guys up the street?"

"Yeah."

"Well I hope those guys up the street use that money that they're making for a good 305

cause. I hope they donate some of that money to the victims of Diane D's other personality's wrath and their families."

"I think they are gonna donate the money."

"Oh. Okay then. That's good. How much are they charging for the T-shirts?"

"Eight dollars each."

"Eight dollars?"

"Yeah."

"Oh. Okay, thanks."

The crowd turns from the woman and continue to happily where the T-shirts.

There is a stage at the stadium with performers doing a dance routine.

Five minutes later, the performers finish their dance routine. The crowd screams and cheer. A Hispanic male announcer comes out on stage and shouts to the crowd,

“Let’s give it up for the Essential Dance Crew!” The crowd screams and cheer again.

The announcer then shouts, “Okay Ladies and gentlemen, we have another wonderful Diaz-Davidson act about to come out. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s hear it for the Techno Band!” The crowd starts to cheer. Five white male band members come out on stage with their guitars and wave to the crowd. The band starts to play the guitar and sing some tunes.

Five minutes later, the announcer is backstage. He turns to two Latin females Carmen, a slim Hispanic woman with long curly hair, and Rachel, a plus-size Hispanic woman with a very short curly hair cut, who both wanted to perform on stage with Diane D two years prior, but wound up having problems with the Dianettes instead. He says to them, "Are you Ladies ready to perform?"

"Yeah we're ready," Carmen says. "As long as we don't have problems with the Dianettes like we did before when we tried to perform with Diane D."

"Well you're not trying to perform with Diane D now are you?"

"No," Rachel says. "Diane D is not allowed to perform."

"Okay then. As long as you're not trying to perform with Diane D, you'll be alright."

"Okay."

"When the Techno Band finishes, I'm gonna get back on stage and announce you guys."

"Okay."

The announcer turns and walks away.

Five minutes later, the Techno Band finish their performance. The crowd cheers.

The Techno Band turns and leave the stage. The announcer comes back on stage and shouts, “Alright ladies and gentlemen, give it up one more time for the Techno Band!”

The crowd cheers again. The announcer then shouts, “Okay, the next performance is about to come out! Ladies and gentlemen! The Diaz-Davidson Organization presents Carmen and Rachel!” The crowd screams and cheers as Carmen and Rachel come out on stage. Latin music starts to play. Carmen and Rachel start to do a little Latin dance routine as they sway their hips and twist their feet to the music. They then start to sing and perform a Latin duet song.

A few minutes later, Carmen and Rachel finish their song duet. The crowd cheers.

Carmen and Rachel turn and leave the stage. The announcer comes back on stage and shouts, “Alright ladies and gentlemen, give it up one more time for Carmen and Rachel!” The crowd cheers again.

Five minutes later, the crowd starts to wonder around the stadium. A large group of a Hispanic family and Hispanic friends walk around the stadium. They are also wearing the different T-shirts that say 'THE NINJA', 'THE LONE WARRIOR' and 'THE

ORIGINAL'. They look around the crowd. One of the young men in the group around his early twenties looks in the distance and shouts, "Hey! There goes Diane D! Oh my God, I see Diane D over there!"

"What!" the rest of the family and friends shout.

"You see Diane D?" a young female around her early twenties shouts. "Where?"

"Over there with her family!"

"Oh my God!" The family and friends look and see Diane D way in the distance surrounded by the Dianettes, her family and a bunch of other relatives. They see two probation officers standing near her family and relatives.

"Oh wow!" an older woman in the group says. "I didn't know that Diane D would be here!"

"Well this IS her family's organization's fundraising!" an older man in the group says.

"Yeah but we didn't know that SHE would be here! We heard that she's on house arrest!"

"She is. I think those are her probation officers standing right near her and her family."

"They are?"

"Yeah." The people continue to look at Diane D.

In the distance, Diane D is surrounded by the Dianettes as the Dianettes talk to her.

She is leaning against a bench as she holds the 2 year-old Spanish boy who was on her hospital bed by piggyback as the little boy stands on the back of the bench with his arms around Diane D's shoulders. At the same time, Diane D also holds the 2 year-old Spanish girl who was on her hospital bed on her chest with the little girl's arms around her shoulders also. She still has the ankle monitor strapped around her ankle. Her brothers Nicolas and Mickey are there, Michael is there, her aunts Marilyn, Aunt Celeste, Aunt Jean, Aunt Laura are there, her Uncle Willie is there. Tomas is there talking with his look alike brother from the Dominican Republic. Grandpa Mike is talking with his look alike brother from St. Thomas. Margarita's sister Marlena from the Dominican Republic is there. Gracy is there. Diane D's two probation officers are there and tons of her other relatives are there.

Back in the distance, some people continue to look at Diane D as the older woman says, "Wow, I wonder how she feels about all these people out here wearing these T-shirts about all her personalities."

"I don't know if she even notices it," a man in the crowd says. "She's standing in the front not far from the stage. Everybody else in the crowd is behind her. I don't know if she even sees them wearing the T-shirts."

"Wow."

307

"I wonder which personality of hers is there right now," another woman in the crowd says, “her original personality, her second personality or her third personality.

"I don't know," another man says, “and I wouldn't want to go up to her to find out either! I don't want to run into any of her personalities."

"No? What about her original personality?"

"I don't know. That second or third personality of hers might come out to the surface and strike at any minute if her original personality gets upset or angry."

"I know."

"How can her family and her probation officers be close to her?" the young Hispanic male asks. "Aren't they scared that other personality of hers might come out and kill them like it did to those police officers, swat team members and now a priest?!"

"I know! I'm not stepping foot over there near Diane D!"

"Me neither! She's a cop killer! She killed three police officers and two swat team members and don't even know it! Now she just killed a priest! She's a priest killer now!"

"I know! Ain't that messed up?!"

"It sure is," the older man says. "Several schools had requested for her to visit them around a year ago?"

"They did?"

"Yeah."

"Even though she beat up that kid Marcus?"

"Yeah, but after all that had happened with her other personalities and the authority figures this year, they all cancelled that idea."

"I don't blame them! Nobody wants a killer at their schools, especially with children!"

"I know." The people continue to look at Diane D.

Back in the distance, the little Spanish boy piggybacking on Diane D's back is drinking from a juice bottle. The little girl on Diane D's chest suddenly reaches over Diane D's right shoulder and grabs the juice box drink from the little boy. The little boy starts to holler. Mary approaches the little boy and shouts to him, "Aquí! Usted toma este!" Mary hands the little boy a juice box drink then hands the little girl another juice box drink. The little boy and the little girl both start to drink out of the juice boxes.

Diane D looks at the little girl as the little girl drinks the juice box. She then turns her head and looks at the little boy. She turns her head back towards the Dianettes as the Dianettes continue to talk with her.

Back in the distance, the crowd continues to watch Diane D staring at her as the older woman in the crowd says, "I still wonder is that her other personality right there or is it her normal personality?"

"You want to go up to her and find out?" another man in the crowd says.

"Hell no! I'm not stepping foot over there near Diane D!"

"Me neither!"

"How can those two little kids that she's holding be anywhere near her?!" a third woman in the crowd says. "I'm scared for them!"

"I'm scared for them too!" a second man in the crowd says.

"Who are they anyway?"

308

"I think they're her little relatives from the Dominican Republic."

"Her relatives from the Dominican Republic?"

"Yeah. I heard a whole lot of her relatives came up from the Dominican Republic when they heard what was happening with her."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah." Crowd continues to look at Diane D.

Forty-five minutes later, the fundraiser is about over. Margarita comes on the stage. The crowd sees her and starts to cheer. Margarita grabs a microphone. She then speaks into the microphone and shouts to the crowd, "Hello everyone!"

The crowd cheers again as they shout, "Miss Margarita!"

Margarita speaks to the crowd and says, "Okay everyone!" Everyone in the crowd, including Diane D and the rest of the family look at Margarita as Margarita shouts, "I would like to thank each and everyone of you for coming here to this fundraiser!" The crowd cheers again as Margarita shouts, "I would like to thank all of you for supporting this fundraiser event! My family and I really appreciate this from the bottom of our hearts! Thanks to all of you for making this possible! Now as we close the fundraiser, the Techno Band will close the show! Thank you again!" The Techno Band come back on stage as the crowd cheers. Margarita turns and heads towards the side of the stage.

She then steps down from the stage.

Margarita turns to Tomas and shouts, "Tomas!" Tomas turns towards Margarita as she shouts to him, "Voy a ir a la cocina y decir a los trabajadores para iniciar la limpieza! Todos mantienen sus ojos en Diane! Estaré de vuelta!"

"Esta bien Margarita!" Tomas shouts.

Margarita turns and heads into the stadium building as the Techno Band start to play their music again.

In the distance, some of the people in the crowd are about to leave, but before the leave, they look in the distance and take another look at Diane D.

In the distance, Barry takes the little boy off Diane D's back. Diane D then takes the little girl off her chest. She gently puts the little girl down. Another little Spanish girl around three-years old holds her arms up to Diane D wanting Diane D to pick her up.

Diane D looks down at the little girl and says to her, "Hold on Baby?" Diane D then turns to Barry and says, "Dad. I'm gonna head inside."

"We'll go with you Diane," Barry says.

Diane D turns from everybody and starts to head towards the building as the Dianettes turn and follow her. The rest of Diane D's family and relatives turn and start to follow her. The two probation officers turn and start to follow Diane D and everybody else towards the building.

Ten minutes later, the Dianettes, Diane D's family and relatives are all standing in the building outside the Ladies' Bathroom all chit-chatting as the two probation officers stand aside looking on. Suddenly the Ladies bathroom door opens. Diane D comes right out of the Ladies' bathroom followed by Nancy, Gracy, Aunt Celeste, Aunt Jean and Aunt Laura. The Dianettes turn towards Diane D. They then approach Diane D. Diane D then turns the other way and starts to head down the hallway as the Dianettes walk 309

with her surrounding her. Everybody else turns and follow Diane D as the two probation officers turn and follow also.

Inside the kitchen area, the Diaz-Davidson staff members are putting food away trying to clean up the place as an Asian male stadium worker and a slim dark skinned African female stadium worker around her mid-thirties wearing a turban argue with a Hispanic male staff member. Other staff members come between them trying to break up the commotion. Margarita suddenly approaches and shouts, "What the heck is going on here?!" She tries to go between the Asian male, the African woman and the Hispanic male and shouts, "What happened?!"

"I'll tell you what happened Miss Margarita!" the Hispanic male shouts. "Those two stadium workers came right into this kitchen and tried to sneak all that leftover food into their bags! They are stealing food from this area and caused me to drop my plate of food, now they won't clean it up!"

"We didn't make you drop that plate of food!" the Asian male shouts back. "You made your own self drop that plate of food?!"

"Yeah because you two were trying to steal the food?!"

"We weren't trying to steal the food!" the African woman shouts back with an accent. "Maybe if you weren't so high, you would walk straight and see where you're going!"

"Maybe if I wasn't so high?! So you want to start with me?!"

"I should!"

"Don't mess with me!"

"I need to!"

"You keep messing with me, you here?!"

"Don't tempt me!" the African woman shouts as she points her finger at the Hispanic man.

"Excuse me Miss!" Margarita shouts to the African woman. "Can you just go to the side?!"

"You keep messing with me!" the Hispanic male shouts to the African woman.

"I will!" the African woman shouts back. She starts mocking the Hispanic male.

"Alright Miss!" Margarita shouts to the African woman. "That's enough!"

"You keep messing with me!" the Hispanic male shouts to the African woman again.

The African woman continues to mock the Hispanic male as Margarita shouts to her, "Alright Miss, that's enough!"

"Grandma!" Diane D's voice calls out. Diane D suddenly enters the kitchen as the Dianettes and the rest of her family and relatives follow right behind her. They are stunned to see a commotion. They stop and stand a few yards away looking on at the commotion.

"You keep messing with me!" the Hispanic man continues to shout to the African woman. Tomas, Barry and Tonio approach the commotion.

The African woman continues to mock the Hispanic male as Margarita shouts to her, "Alright Miss! I said that's enough!" The African woman still continues to mock the Hispanic male as Margarita shouts to her, "Excuse me Miss! That's enough!" The African woman still continues to mock the Hispanic male. Margarita puzzled looks at the African woman and shouts to her, "Excuse me Miss! Do you hear me?! Miss!" The African woman still continues to mock the Hispanic male. Margarita turns to Tomas 310

and Barry and puzzled looks at them as Diane D and the rest of the crowd look on at the African woman. Mary steps away from the crowd and walks towards the African woman.

Mary approaches the African woman and shouts to her, "Excuse me Miss! But my mom is speaking to you!" The African woman stops and looks at Mary stunned as Mary shouts to her, "My mom does not need this crap, neither does the rest of my family! We already been through a whole lot and we certainly do not need this added drama! Since you didn't seem to hear my mom speaking to you, let me have a word with you! I want to talk to you way in the back of the hallway! Since you seem to be hard of hearing, I'm going to REALLY get loud back there! So let's go to the back of the hallway so I can scream at you! Let's go this way!" Mary grabs the African woman by the arm and starts to lead the African woman away.

The African woman stunned looks at Mary and shouts, "Where're we going?!"

"Come let me talk to you!" Mary continues to take the African woman away.

"Don't be too hard on her Mary," Margarita says.

"I won't Mom!" Mary takes the African woman to the back door as the Asian man turns and follows.

Margarita then approaches Tomas, Barry and Tonio as they stare towards Mary and the African woman watching Mary and the African woman go out the back door.

Margarita then turns to Barry and says, "Barry, I think you better keep an eye on Mary."

"You got that right mom," Barry says. Margarita, Tomas and Tonio look towards Barry as he heads towards the back door to follow Mary. They then turn towards each other. They then turn towards Diane D and start to walk towards her. They approach Diane D as everyone starts to surround her.
