As the sun was starting to set, Grant was temporarily blinded by a set of headlights as they turned into the driveway. It was Dickie Brewer’s Cadillac. He pulled out his camera and zoomed in as his quarry made his way from the car to the house. He snapped several photos, and sure enough he noticed dark purple bruises on his face. He waited a few minutes after the front door closed before he got out of his car and snuck across the street. He snapped photos of the car’s interior through the windows. With the light given off by the camera’s flash, he could see what appeared to be blood stains on the carpet in the back seat.
