He scanned the funeral home parking lot, looking for a silver Cadillac Fleetwood. Not seeing one, he drove to Dickie’s house, and looked in the driveway. It wasn’t there, either. He found a parking space on the street across from the house, and took out his camera. He decided he would wait for Dickie Brewer to come home, and see for himself if there were any bruises on his face. While he waited, he scanned through the crime scene photos on his phone and came across the matching footprints from the different crime scenes. He estimated he was looking at the print of a men’s ten and a half size work boot.
