3. The isosceles triangle

The isosceles triangle is different from the regular triangle in the sense that it carries an extra consistency otherwise known as, balance. This comes from the fact that all three of its sides are equal in length. It's because of this that the measurement of the triangle's parametre can be written down as the length of one of its sides multiplied by three.

Measurement Formula: Length of one side of the triangle × 3

4. The rectangle

The rectangle is a shape that is similar to the line except for the fact that it carries the extra property of height, at both its start and end. The measurement of the rectangles parametre can be written down as its width multiplied by two plus its height multiplied by two.

Measurement Formula: (Length × 2) + (Height × 2) 5. The square

The square which is similar to the rectangle except for the fact that all four of its sides are consistent in length. The measurement of the Square's parametre can then be noted down as its length multiplied by four.
