The final showdown took place in the Great Sock Drawer of Time, where Greg faced Toebert in a duel of laundry metaphors and interpretive dance. Just as Toebert launched his final attack; a devastating move called the “Heel Turn”, Greg countered with the forbidden technique; the Double Fold of Destiny.
Toebert unraveled.
The Sock Council dissolved into a pile of confused hosiery, and Greg was offered the throne of the Sock Dimension. He declined, citing “a strong desire to never be responsible for anything ever again.”
Instead, he appointed Steve as ambassador and returned to Earth, where he now teaches Sock Fu to confused yoga students and occasionally receives cryptic messages from Velma, who may or may not be running a bathrobe cult.
